Una vista spettacolare di 50 miglia sulla Hudson Valley

Siamo arroccati su una scogliera sopra una meravigliosa cascata. Puoi vedere per 50 miglia da ogni stanza. Guarda le stagioni cambiare e consumare i pasti da un delizioso, tranquillo schermo sotto il portico. L'appartamento è molto privato con ingresso e veranda privati. Cucinare nella cucina completamente attrezzata con vista. Goditi un drink e guarda il tramonto, ascolta la cascata, guarda la TV via cavo, leggi un libro o resta in contatto con il nostro accesso wireless a Internet.

Guidare in una direzione per 7 minuti fino a Woodstock N. Y. e mangiare nei nostri ristoranti nominati Zagat, ascoltare musica, vedere spettacoli o visitare le famose gallerie d'arte. Guidare nella direzione opposta a Saugerties, il sito del secondo Festival di Woodstock e visitare i deliziosi negozi di antiquariato o semplicemente ammirare il paesaggio.

Se sei appassionato di sport, fai un'escursione nelle Catskills proprio fuori dalla nostra porta, gite in bicicletta, jogging, kayak sulle insenature o sul fiume Hudson. Scia a Hunter, Windham o Belleayre Mountains. O forse vuoi solo passeggiare sulle nostre bellissime strade di campagna.

My husband and I stayed at Big Sky in May 2025. It is a nice little apartment with a great view from the screened porch. So close to the town of Woodstock and other attractions in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. We plan on returning in the fall!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this private and cozy apartment! It was well-appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows. We loved the location, too! We were close to the town-centers of Woodstock and Saugerties, each with a great variety of restaurants and shops. We were also close to some gorgeous hiking trails. Myra and Jerry were lovely and checking in and out was a breeze! We highly recommend this apartment to couples looking for a serene get-away in the Catskill Mountains.

I rented Big Sky for the weekend to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. This place was everything I could have asked for and more. Myra and Jerry were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself was very charming and the views were as incredible as they described. It was an overall awesome experience, and I’m very thankful we rented Big Sky!

We decided to do a golf outing for 2 days and stayed in the area at Big Sky. We frequented the Palenville area. We ate at Griffin House. Highly recommend. Also, Log Cabin Cafe in Purling for breakfast was great. We visited Main Street area of Saugerties the last night. Wished we investigated it more. A very nice stay.

My family of 4 stayed here in August of 2023. It was a pleasant stay, and the furnishings were perfect for my small family. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, the screen porch was nice to unwind on after a long day of sightseeing, and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Very nice accommodation; just as described. Quiet, secluded, private, lots of room and great views. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, Myra and Jerry, greeted us upon our arrival, and they provided lots of information about the area. We went to the laundromat in Woodstock. It was a nice, clean facility with rapid-speed machines.

Myra and Jerry were excellent hosts. Supportive, but also gave us all the privacy we were hoping for. Their home and Saugerties/the general area is perfect for slowing down, getting some fresh air and taking in the beauty of Mother Nature. We highly recommend checking out Kaaterskill Falls and Selena’s Diner! And we hope to be back for the views again someday :)

We came to the Catskills for a family reunion and needed a place to stay. Myra‘s place was so much better than a hotel. It was clean, comfortable and had a great kitchen. The bonus was the screened in porch and the view, of course. Our favorite part was morning coffee on the porch. Myra and Jerry were a great hosts and provided us all the information we needed. The place is close to hiking in Woodstock and Kingston. We visited both towns and enjoyed them. Myra even took the time to mail my computer to me which I accidentally left behind! Nothing better than good people and a comfortable space to rest your head.

The energy of the property is amazing. The view from the back yard is beautiful and I could hear running water down in the ravine that I couldn’t see ( due to all the vegetation). Myra and Gerry were kind and responsive hosts. The unit is a walk out basement underneath a large deck so it is very dark inside (a deck also extends over the screened in porch). I ate in the whole week I stayed so I missed having a lid for the one large pot ( I used the large frying pan as a lid to help get water to boil for pasta) and the right rear burner doesn’t work but that did not inconvenience me.. they had to have emergency work done on there deck during two of the days I was there..!The property is only a 10-15!minute drive to Pratt nature reserve, so is some nice walking there but otherwise have to walk along the road which is not that busy but still cats are driving fast
