  • Come unwind at the home of August Ciderhouse on the Kitsap Penninsula. This newly renovated house with attached barn is 2 acres of rural, easy to access bliss. Enjoy some downtime in the adirondacks, have happy hour in the barn, or snuggle up for a movie night - it's all waiting for you.

    Make this farmstay your homebase to explore Western Washington - the ferries to Seattle and Edmonds are just a mile away, and the Olympic Peninsula and National Park are just a 20 minute drive.

    The space
    The entire house was recently renovated. This is not a primary residence and the entire space is just for you - so no weird surprises behind these closet doors!

    The king and queen bedrooms have new mattresses.

    The well equipped kitchen is ready for you to cook at your leisure. We've provided everything you should need to feel right at home. Dine at the 6 person kitchen table or the farm table in the barn.

    Enjoy a cozy night in watching Netflix or Prime upstairs in the loft - Roku guest access is provided for you to link to your own streaming accounts. The kids will enjoy watching from the nook behind the sectional.

    The barn is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space and the entire first floor of the barn is available for your use. It's perfect for meals, games, and lounging.

    Relax outside soaking up the idyllic scenery from the adirondacks on the lawn and pick blackberries in the summertime.

Retreat is the perfect way to describe this charming farm house. The property is quiet and restful even with the roosters and geese at the neighboring farm. (They were great!)The house is well equipped with laundry and kitchen supplies and beds comfy. Highly recommend!

Lovely property! The bedrooms are a bit tight, but as long as you’re traveling with family, there’s room to spread out suitcases and such around the house. The bedrooms have barn doors and do not lock, which is a good thing to know if you’re traveling with your kids. There’s also a neighborhood rooster that likes to make himself known in the mornings. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend!

Unique Space for a Weekend Away

My friends and I had a nice stay here on a girls weekend. The location is quiet (apart from the occasional crow of a rooster next door) and has a nice common space to hang out in. We were close enough to visit both Poulsbo and Bainbridge, so it was a perfect spot!

We spent two nights at the Ciderhouse while in town for a wedding. Everything was great, from the comfortable bedding to the beautiful grounds. This property is a gem!

An oasis in the forest!

Can’t beat the beautiful interior design of this rental! Very cozy! It was a short drive from Kingston but felt like you were in the middle of the woods. We had several deer in the yard to greet us each morning. Excellent communication from the owners. Would stay again.

Perfect Solitude

We absolutely loved this property. Everything was as listed. The hosts were very friendly, communicative and made the whole process easy and intuitive. We were coming home from Vancouver BC and this was the perfect retreat after a big city, quiet, private and relaxing. The house was awesome, clean and had all the right essentials. Would definitely recommend as well as stay again.
