“This is not the Hotel Max I used to stay. Room was not ready until 6pm. I do not care about the size of the room even if this time, it was the smallest available. What disturbed me the most is the fact room was ever made up through out the stay even if it was told at reception. Not acceptable for a hotel with such prices”

“At the very end of its IHG corporate refit, the Monaco’s interior is now stripped of all vestiges of independent quirkiness in favor of muted chic and some oddly flimsy fittings (take care when using the soap dispenser in the shower - the caddy is less than solid). But the staff are still terrific: welcoming, attentive and warm: and the no-fuss dog policy is unchanged. We had drinks and nibbles in the lobby and they were top tier, served with good cheer (and water for our hound) The restaurant...
