Horrible Communication
This VRBO owner has not only horrible communication but flat out lied to me.I am a teacher from Michigan whose job eas rescinded, I contacted the owner before the beginning of my stay and was told that they could not refund anything despite the fact that this was a rescinded job situation. Then she turned around and told me that if I checked out of the property early they could give me a partial refund. They ended up charging me the same for 5 days as they would have for over 3 weeks, they got the full amount of money out of me and then are turning around and renting it again to double dip. This company has terrible scruples, horrible business practices and ethics. The lying, the lack of communication and the scamming is off the charts. It would be wise to rent a different property and have thorough communication beforehand. I have screenshots of this owner telling me they would refund me and I will be reporting this to vrbo.
