For a Natural, Refined Escape, Whispering Pines in Calling
Enjoy a peaceful corner of the Outer Banks with a stay at the pristine and inviting Whispering Pines. Ideally located to enjoy the best of the beach and the natural setting, this 5-Bedroom, 5.5-Bathroom, sound side sanctuary offers the opportunity to enjoy a gorgeous house in a private wooded neighborhood, yet still be just a short walk away from the beach. Whispering Pines offers beautiful views from the great room and several other locations throughout the home and the Private In-Ground Saltwater Pool (28' x 12') is fully enclosed and bathed in sunlight. It is a perfect destination to soak up the afternoon sun or splash and play with the kids, and the hot tub is ideal for unwinding after a great day at the beach.

As soon as you pull up to this gorgeous home located just one block from the highway, you'll find yourself immersed in nature amidst tall pine trees and quiet, year-round neighbors. Enjoy the wonderful Private Saltwater Pool* for a relaxing splash or soak in the warm, bubbly Hot Tub after your drive to the Outer Banks. Whip up something delicious for the whole family on the Gas Grill and relax with a cool drink and a beach read on the comfortable lounge furniture that surrounds the pool.

On the Middle Level, enjoy a gorgeous Living Area with a TV that's perfect for family movie night as well as a slider that not only lets in plenty of natural light, but gives you access to the Private Saltwater Pool* and warm, bubbly Hot Tub. Enjoy the Stereo with plenty of CDs, DVDs, and books to choose from before retiring to one of the cozy bedrooms on this floor. Get the kiddos settled in the Bunk Room with 2 Bunk Beds and access to a Hallway Bathroom (shower only). Relax in your choice of the 2 Queen Master Bedrooms, one of which has a Garden Tub, a TV, and a slider to a Deck overlooking the pool. You'll also find the Laundry on this floor for quick cleanups and easy washes.

Whispering Pines was custom built and features warm woodwork that accent the contemporary styling of this multi-level gem. The large, open floor plan of the Top Level offers plenty of room to spread out and relax with friends and family, while the fully stocked Kitchen has everything you will need to make mealtime a breeze. It is enhanced with custom, solid wood cabinetry, a ceramic cooktop, and an island bar for added seating, as well as pristine views of the wooded surrounding trickle in through veritably every light-filled window. For a true retreat, head up to the very top level where a Queen Master Bedroom, a second Queen Master Bedroom with a Jacuzzi, and a cozy Sitting Area are just waiting to ease you into ultimate relaxation.

A Quaint Little Town Perfect for Vacation
North of Kitty Hawk and south of Duck, Southern Shores is a quaint little town (only four square miles!) and is the perfect place for your next family vacation. With serene views and proximity to fun Outer Banks activities, you're always close to something fun. With private beaches, your family can spend the day at the ocean free of the normal summer crowds. An excellent area for biking and jogging, a lovely trail runs behind the house, ideal for a nice stroll through the neighborhood. Try Pizza Stop for hand-tossed NY-style pies or Coastal Provisions for delicious oysters and other local seafood.

Seeing the sites

This house fit all our needs beautiful house. You can be in the kitchen and see the living room and the dinning room very open. We had 4 couples here, we all had our own bathroom and space to sit and talk. Great time to see the sites in the area of the Outer Banks.
