Cottage classico, aggiornato sulla spiaggia, circondato da querce vive. Questa casa con 4 camere da letto e 2 bagni si trova a pochi passi dalle splendide spiagge delle Southern Shores sulle Outer Banks. Avrai una cucina ben attrezzata con un fornello a gas per cucinare e tutti i moderni elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e un grande divano confortevole nella grande sala con TV a schermo piatto, lettore DVD, cavo e giochi da tavolo. Finestre Andersen e porte scorrevoli in vetro. Al piano superiore ci sono 2 camere da letto, ognuna con un letto matrimoniale e un ponte privato, condividendo un bagno. Il piano principale ha una camera da letto matrimoniale e una camera con due letti singoli. Tutte le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono forniti. C'è anche una lavanderia al piano terra con un ulteriore frigorifero / congelatore e sedie a sdraio multiple e accessori. Risciacquare sotto la doccia esterna dopo una giornata in spiaggia. L'ampio cortile recintato è molto privato e ha un'amaca per rilassarsi. Il mazzo avvolgente è recintato che consente agli animali domestici e agli ospiti di vagare. Una posizione ideale e tranquilla per fuggire con negozi, ristoranti e divertimenti situati nelle vicinanze. I militari in servizio attivo, i veterani e i primi soccorritori ricevono uno sconto.

Perfect location for family vacation.

This was the perfect destination for our family get together. The fenced in dog yard made bringing the pets with us worry free. The house was very cozy and welcoming with plenty of room for everyone. Beach equipment available was added bonus. Well stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze. Wish I knew about all of the beach towels and beach toys as I probably would not have brought so much myself. Quiet neighborhood and short walk to ocean was great. Would have used bikes but one tire was flat, no big deal though. Would definitely recommend. A lot to do in the area.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We used the trail on clam shell for beach access. We found it was closer and less busy than the Chicahauk access. We would stay here again

Perfect Location

This is our second summer at this property in Southern Shores and we plan to stay again next year. The bed rooms have plenty of space and the kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t bring our dogs this year but the property is perfect if you want to bring them. Our favorite aspect is the location. It’s a short walk to the beach and a short drive to grocery stores. It’s between Duck and Kitty Hawk so it’s a short drive to both. The stairs leading to the upper bedrooms are a little steep, and you have to take laundry outside and down the stairs, but those aren’t issues for us. We enjoy this property and will definitely stay again.

Puppers Beach Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this dog-friendly beach house! It was such a treat to find a place that welcomed our pups and had so many thoughtful amenities—kitchen, beach gear, games, books, washer/dryer and even a dog bowls. The location was perfect, and we spent hours enjoying the outdoor space and nearby beach, plenty of wonderful food options nearby, we LOVED Barefoot Bernie’s and Southern Shores Pizza and Deli. The only downside was the beds—they were a bit uncomfortable and could use an upgrade. But overall, the experience was fantastic, and we’d absolutely come back (especially if the beds get a refresh!).Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets and looking for a relaxing getaway! We can’t wait to come back and visit again

Great little beach cottage!

We stayed here while our home was undergoing some repairs and absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for our older dog, who explored the huge fenced in backyard and got to romp daily on the great beaches! We loved being able to easily walk to the beach and the walking paths and trails throughout Chickhauk were ideal! The hosts were so accommodating to our needs and super responsive. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves a cozy beach cottage experience.

Respite in OBX

Stayed at this property for a week with my senior mom. It was everything I hoped for! Arrived to a spotless home. Spacious and comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. Loved cooking dinner each evening and spending time in the living room just 'hanging out' with mom.The outdoor area is ideal for dog owners! I never had to fear my two hyper pups would get loose with the enclosed back yard and the gate setup.Dual heating zones kept the home toasty warm for my mom, water for showers was quite hot which was wonderful.Owners were responsive to any questions I had and the whole process of checking in and out was painless.Very grateful to have found this gem in the Southern Shores.

Comfortable, clean, conveniently located

We enjoyed our stay in this charming pet-friendly house. The house is well-furnished and clean. The setup of the house was very comfortable for everyone and it was well-stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, and beach items. The multi-gate system for the deck and lawn gave us great peace of mind for our dogs. The hosts were very helpful and communicative with us. Thank you for a great stay!

Comfortable stay

Our family of six adults and one child with dogs enjoyed our stay at this beach house. It was close to beach access and beach parking. The fenced backyard was wonderful and the house was comfortable and well stocked. Our only complaint is that the shared upstairs bathroom door did not lock and there are no bathroom vents. This made it a little awkward going to the bathroom but would not keep us from renting again. The bedrooms were well furnished and the beds were comfortable. If you have anyone in your group with mobility issues just be aware that the steps to the upstairs could be a challenge. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful trip.

Huge Fenced-in Yard Southern Shores!

This house had exactly what we were looking for: fully fenced-in huge yard for our two dogs, very easy walk to the beach, many beach toys including bikes and kayaks, outdoor shower and foot wash, fully stocked kitchen...it was perfect!

OBX Vacation

Great location. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to grocery stores. Very pet friendly with fenced yard connected to front door and deck. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of room to relax. Bedrooms were good size.

Chikahauk in Southern Shores is great!

Great neighborhood. Easy walk to beach. Park for kids. Parking if you drive to beach. Pet friendly! Great beach toys and wagon and beach towels. Helped with our packing list for the long trip. That was greatly appreciated!

Everything you could need, in a lovely and quiet setting

We could not be happier with our stay here! The location is perfect: so close to the beach, yet quiet and private. The entire area was very nice. The property was spotlessly clean, and everything is of good quality and in excellent condition. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage and extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need, and then some, in addition to high-end appliances and beautiful countertops. Every aspect of this property offers anything you could need. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and we hope to return next summer.

Lovely stay close to the beach

We had a truly lovely time in Southern Shores at this property. The area/ neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed - perfect for a stay where we just wanted to go screenless, cook, and walk to the beach. Our dogs loved sunbathing on the deck and with the multiple gates and fenced backyard, we never worried about them escaping and getting lost! Location is very convenient with no essential service less than 5 mins drive. Thank you so much for hosting us!
