Conveniently located just one block, or a 3-minute walk, from the beach in the heart of Kitty Hawk, Jo's Bungalow boasts picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy access to a wide array of restaurants and amenities on the Outer Banks. With one primary floor and both a Mid-Level and a Top-Level deck, this classic beach box-style home has everything you need for a fantastic, ocean-centered vacation.

Start each morning by enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee on the ocean-view, upper-level Sundeck where you can catch a cool ocean breeze as you bask in the warm, southern sun. Grab your boogie board and beach bag once you're ready to start the day off right and head to the recently widened expanse of shoreline that's situated just a short away at the Balchen Street Beach Access. At the end of a glorious day of fun in the sun and sand, rinse off under the Outdoor Shower before heading up to the main level of this adorable home where you can relax on the Mid-Level Covered Deck and listen to the sound of the waves lull you into a sense of peace and relaxation. Spend time with your family on the cozy furniture as you enjoy the salty sea air.

When it's time for some rest, make your way inside to the cozy Living Area with plenty of comfortable furniture and a Flat Screen TV that's perfect for catching up on your shows or watching a movie with a cup of tea on a rainy day. There's also a cozy Sleeper Sofa that can pop out for those days when you just need a nap or to make sure everyone has plenty of space to relax. Pass by the conveniently-located, stackable Laundry in the cubby nearby on your way to the Kitchen, which has everything you need to whip some delicious local, North Carolina seafood. For a day trip, take the family up to Corolla to see the Currituck Lighthouse and take a safari-style tour to see the Corolla wild horses. When you get hungry, Art's Place is just a short walk away and is a great place to grab a burger for lunch. For a fine dining seafood experience, walk over to Ocean Boulevard Bistro and Martini Bar.

Loved it -- JUST what we were looking for!

We wanted close walk to beach, hearing the waves; we wanted small enough to be cozy and affordable; we wanted comfortable and clean and fun, with the key amenities. We got all those and MORE! The rooftop deck was a real treat, for a memorable sunset dinner with burgers cooked on the grill. Both my son and I would love to return, and would bring more family! Thanks very much. Also, very fast resolution of a small question we had about the wifi.
