Access to the home is hassle-free with our Smart Lock system. You’ll receive a unique code to unlock the door on check-in day.

Located in the quaint town of Southern Shores with its live oak trees, bike and walking paths, cool architecturally diverse communities and easy access to Kitty Hawk and the town of Duck.

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.



★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★

The pool is open seasonally from May 15-October 15. The hot tub is open year round. Pool heat is available at $50/day, capped at $200/week. 48 hour notice is required. Please note that pool heaters are intended to gently warm the water and take the chill off. They are not designed to heat the pool to a hot-tub or bath-water temperature. We target 78–82°F when weather cooperates, but we can’t guarantee exact temps.



★ PET FRIENDLY ★

Dogs are welcome at this home for a pet fee of $100 per dog. (2 dogs MAX). Please note - dogs are not permitted in the pool area. There is a 20X20 enclosed dog run for your pet to enjoy.



★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the home, please clean up after.



★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home. This home has exterior cameras overlooking the front door and outdoor areas.



★ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS ★

For the safety and tranquility of our guests and neighbors, we strictly prohibit third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.



★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under the age of 25, especially for high school or college parties.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We absolutely loved our stay at this house. I can’t recommend it highly enough!!! It was beautiful and cozy and a perfect location. The host was such a pleasure to work with. Hands down my best experience renting a vacation home. Every question was answered immediately and they even let me add my dog at the last minute. The property has its own designated pet area!!! I’ll definitely be looking for their other properties when planning my next vacation. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation stress free and magical.
