Southern Shores oceanside home with new carpet throughout in 2024. Short walk 310 yards to beach access with no streets to cross. Hear the waves and watch the sunset from the front decks. Enjoy the sun at the pool in the morning and relax in the shade in the afternoon.

5 bedrooms (private bedroom with King, private bedroom with Queen, private bedroom with Pyramid bunk and Trundle, private bedroom with King, 1 with 2 Pyramid bunks), 4 baths (with tub and shower), game room with bumper pool, refrigerator, Streaming TV.

Level 2:
Spacious great room with streaming TV, stereo, vaulted ceiling, room for the whole family to gather! Dining table seats 12 -14. Updated kitchen with new granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances! Screened porch off dining area, and sunny front deck off living room area. Private bedroom (with King & upgraded bath), powder room off kitchen.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
