Serendipity on the Sound - Beautiful 4 BR Soundfront Home With Amenities Galore

This beautiful sound front home just off MP #1 has over 3,600 square feet of living space, two levels of Timbertech composite decking and a large screened in porch with eating area for 10 overlooking the sound. Spectacular evening dusk vista awaits your arrival with views from the large upper deck, kitchen, breakfast eating area and three King bedrooms. Upper deck includes oversized umbrella, Weber gas grill, propane gas fire pit and conversational teak seating arrangement. Lower deck includes a hot tub with cover caddy for privacy and sitting area with comfortable composite chairs. The waterfront dock is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, relax and watch the osprey, bald eagles, otters and the natural OBX saltwater marsh habitat. Private dock for mooring your own boat, fishing (catfish, bass, trout & brim), and crabbing. From a convenient 100ft boardwalk a retractable ladder lowers into the sound for swimming, launching paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. A Nags Head hammock located in the shade and a floating Bote swim platform are available. An Inclinator dumb waiter in the garage is available for easily transporting groceries/luggage from the garage to/from the kitchen.

Level 1:
Basement Game Room & Garage: Humidity controlled Game room including, TV, foosball table, ESPN air hockey table, 2 ping pong tables, professional dart board, miniature golf green for putting. Fishing poles & tackle, crab net, corn hole set, and horseshoes. Basketball net w/concrete court. Tiki torches for evening dock use are available. 3rd refrigerator for ice/cold beverages in garage.

Level 2:
1 bedroom (with King and private bath with shower); gourmet kitchen with island and upscale appliances, poker game room with TV, laundry room with new washer/dryer and second refrigerator, breakfast area overlooking sound, family room with TV, gas fireplace, and additional seating.

Level 3:
3 bedrooms (1 with King, TV, and private bath with shower/tub; 1 with King; 1 with Queen each has separate vanity/sinks and shared bath with shower/tub). Additional twin beds (3) adjacent.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
