Nascosto dietro ulivi secolari su un lotto d'angolo sabbioso in comodo "Southern Shores", questo tradizionale box da spiaggia è a soli 300 metri o 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Captains Quarters è 1000 piedi quadrati di fascino nautico vintage pratico e invitante, tutto ciò di cui una piccola famiglia ha bisogno su un solo livello per un prezzo accessibile. Il piano di calpestio personalizzato offre un ambiente privato e informale al di fuori del relax e dei pasti, persino l'aspetto di un capitano con scorci di blu oceano tra le linee del tetto. Al di sotto del cottage, servizi utili includono il posto auto coperto compatto, doccia 2-stalla spiaggia, stazione di pulizia del pesce di lusso con lavello, lavanderia completa, e una zona di sosta sulla spiaggia addobbata con panca.
Gli ospiti del Captains Quarters avranno accesso privato agli eccezionali servizi comunitari sull'oceano e sul lato sonoro, tra cui un secondario beach park "per famiglie" che dispone di un ampio parcheggio privato, docce e jons, area picnic e laghetto per la pesca. I nostri ospiti avranno anche accesso ad un parco sonoro privato con viste ottimali al tramonto e agli uccelli acquatici, un porto turistico con barca con varo e alcune piste ciclabili che collegano l'intera area. Captains Quarters si trova a meno di 3 miglia a sud della destinazione memorabile di Duck centrale, sede di numerosi ristoranti, negozi, centri termali di fama mondiale e sport acquatici. Un passaggio pedonale illuminato all'angolo di Dolphin Run offre un accesso più sicuro alla spiaggia 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. I Captains Quarters offrono accesso diretto alla proprietà con percorsi ciclabili / pedonali, consentendo ai nostri ospiti di rimanere attivi e ben collegati come vogliono, pur avendo un posto centrale e accogliente in cui rifugiarsi. Tre biciclette in stile beach comber saranno disponibili per l'uso.
Il parcheggio nell'unità circolare è ampio per un massimo di tre veicoli o due con un rimorchio per imbarcazioni. La proprietà di mezzo acro è completamente naturalizzata, ma offre uno spazio di cortile laterale favorevole a scarpe da cavallo o gioco cornhole.
NOTA: per la stagione estiva 2018, i nostri affitti settimanali saranno solo da domenica a domenica.

The Perfect Week Away…

We always enjoy our stay at Dolphin’s Run! Great location, terrific hosts, and the perfect getaway! It’s the most cozy and inviting place to enjoy some much needed downtime and family time! Best Family Vacation To Date

Our stay at Captain's Quarters was beyond awesome! The renter was so friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions promptly. Just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to a private access beach with lifeguard on duty, the location of Captain's Quarters was perfect.

Fabulous

We all loved the house, it was homey and reminded us of our favorite aunt’s home. Very well stocked with basic necessities and ice cold water to drink upon our arrival. The only negative thing is when it rains the stairs are slick.

Great location, clean and quaint!

Stayed for a full week with spouse and two kids. The home is nice for a small family. Best features include the cleanliness and location. It really was a short 5 minute walk to the beach that never seemed too busy even during peak vacation season. We liked that it was within bike distance to Duck and to grocery stores and a fun escape room. We rode bikes to avoid the heavy traffic days on Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, it seems in the middle of alot of sight seeing options. Horses 45 minutes north, Pea Island and Roanoke 45 minutes south. Crabbing and fishing at a nearby community marina. The house is like a time capsule from the 1980's, which was actually fun and nostalgic to us young gen x folks. Right down to a Tupperware kool aid container. The entire time we felt like we were staying in a great aunt or nana's beach house. Immaculate and well stocked with everything you needed for a week at the beach. Including bikes, wagon, beach toys and umbrellas. The AC worked well, tv's in all the rooms, plenty of hot water. No complaints, would stay here again.

Family-friendly Beach Access

We had a great week at Captain’s quarters. Our family with two preschool age kids greatly appreciated that the house was stocked with more than enough paper products, soaps, towels and bedding, way more than any rental I’ve seen. The walk to the beach was extremely easy with two small kids and the house included everything for the beach we needed (umbrella, wagon, toys, chairs, etc.). There was ample outdoor space and the living space was nice and open. Although it’s a 1.5 bath, the half bath was so large, we could use it for storing toiletries and it felt like a second full bath. The house was very clean (and I’m very picky!) We fell in love with Southern Shores and will definitely be back!

Wonderful

Exactly as described. So many extras like bikes, beach equipment, etc. We really enjoyed our stay, a short walk to the beach. The house was clean when we arrived, AC worked perfectly, loved the beachy decorations, really made it feel like home.

Comfortable and close to beach

Cozy Clean and Close to Everything!

It was a perfect stay for my little family! Just a few minutes walk until your toes are in the sand. It was in close proximity to everything you would need… grocery store, restaurants, and surrounding towns. It also had some fun trails around that my husband and kids explored by bike and scooter. They rode to the little town of Duck one day. The place was perfectly cozy, clean, and well stocked! Communication with the owners was great. We had such a wonderful time we already booked another stay!

Perfect and rustic

We loved this place! It had everything we needed and then some. Quick short walk to the beach, but there's a wagon to help with the haul. Plenty of beach items (chairs, umbrella, toys, bikes, etc.). There were six of us (3 teenagers and one pre-teen) and we had plenty of space. I enjoyed my morning tea on the upper level and the porch swing was great for relaxing at night. The shower underneath was very handy for beach returns. We would definitely stay again!

Very Nice, Great Value

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Captain's Quarters. Comfy, clean, and lots of nice extra touches. Beach access was close (0.2 mile) and straightforward. We'll definitely consider this home for future trips to OBX and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-value stay in Southern Shores.

Awesome Place to stay!

Loved it here. Don't be fooled by is vintage appearance (which was my favorite part)! I grew up on the SE coast and this house has all the original charm of the beach! Unbelievably clean and stocked out of this world! Super quick walk to the beach too, never over crowded! Highly recommend!

Affordable and cozy

Captain's Quarters

Captain's Quarters is a great beach home and our vacation there was wonderful. We were are group of 2 couples and 1 single and there was plenty of room. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and we were provided with everything we needed from paper products to beach items. The house has a quaint, homey feel with cozy furniture and cute nautical décor. The decks outside are great for relaxing with a cup of coffee and the outdoor shower is very handy when coming from the beach. Beach access is 2 short blocks over and shops are a quick drive. The property manager was prompt with info and communication was excellent. My only issue with the stay was the lack of curtains in the bedroom. With just blinds there is a lot of bright light early in the morning and this makes sleeping past sunrise a bit difficult. I'd definitely recommend Captain's Quarters and would stay there again.

Home Away From Home

This home was perfect for our family of six. As soon as you walk in, you feel as if you're at home. The owners are extremely kind and ready to answer any questions you may have. I have to say that our favorite thing was the enclosed shower which is located underneath the house. It provides cold as well as hot water. It's sooo very convenient after a long day at the beach. You'll never drag sand into the house if you utilize this awesome feature. Hope to visit again one day.

Late May Beach Week

Our family was very impressed with the cleanliness and many thoughtful touches the owners have provided at this beach house. Cold bottled water, paper goods, towels, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, even a box of extra toiletries in the bathroom for things one may have forgotten. We have only two things we think could use improvement. The beds, and some of the outdoor furniture. We're hoping they'll get to it in time, because we'll happily come back! Great location, pleasant to deal with...a real pleasure.
