Always Included, complimentary linens and made beds! Welcome to Duck Dunes! This oceanside property is located in Caffey's Inlet Hamlet, a private subdivision located about 3 miles north of the beautiful Town of Duck and approximately 400 yards from the beach via private access. Our beachfront is the location of a Duck Surf Rescue lifeguard station from Memorial Day to Labor Day. When you're not relaxing on Duck's beautiful sandy beaches, relax in your own private pool and hot tub. Feel the summer breeze from a furnished screened-in porch or in any of the wrap-around decks on both the first and second levels.

A large backyard is kept in a natural state perfect for cookouts and outside activities.As a guest of the property, you have access to the community-owned dock and pier along the Albemarle Sound located across the entrance to the subdivision. From this area, you can fish, kayak, or paddleboard on the sound. And don't forget to come back in the evening to witness radiant sunsets. This home is tastefully furnished and equipped with your family's comfort in mind including a high chair and other children's furniture and games. Come to Duck Dunes and experience the quaint and family-oriented atmosphere of the Town of Duck.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful place. Well appointed. Nice pool and outside shower. Just a block or so from the beach. We had a family of 10 for a week.
