New exterior sitting area with TVComfortably accommodating 9 people, "Duck Views" has 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Don't worry about packing up a full car to drive to the beach... you and your family/friends will love the quick 1100 foot skip to the beach and direct beach access! Convenient washer/dryer on the bottom floor will keep you from packing so many clothes and will allow you to return home with clean laundry. Splash around in your Private Pool after a long day on the beach, clean the fish you caught in the water's edge on the outdoor fish cleaning table, and then grill it on the charcoal grill. Pool available 5/7-10/8.
Casually eat outside on the picnic table, or enjoy lounging in the exterior sitting area while watching your favorite show or ball game on the outdoor TV. Head upstairs to the top level screened in porch to enjoy the weather without enduring the heat or insects. Create lasting memories in the spacious dining and living areas while watching the gorgeous sunset over the Currituck Sound, which you can see from your sundeck. Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Check-in was super easy. Atlantic Reality was very easy to work with for questions throughout the process.The kitchen was much smaller than expected. Enough equipment but no pantry or storage for groceries that we bought. The groceries ended up on the counter which cut down on prep area
