Ducktopia is a tastefully furnished oceanside home in Duck with a variety of private and community amenities that are sure to please the entire family. The central location in the heart of town can't be beat and is perfect for vacationers who want to experience Duck on foot or by bicycle.

When you're not at the beach or exploring town, there's plenty to do while relaxing at the house. Play a game of pool in the rec room or host a volleyball tournament in the backyard. The large private pool will be everyone's favorite place to hang out, and there's also a hot tub for soaking away the day. Ducktopia is ideal for multiple families, with four master bedrooms so everyone can have a private retreat at the end of the night. The living room, rec room and all of the master bedrooms feature smart TV's. All bedrooms have new 3" memory foam mattress toppers for 2025.

Apart of the private community of Duck Landing, this home provides guests with convenient access to the beach and community amenities located at the end of the street. The facility includes a clubhouse, fitness center, pickleball courts and a heated indoor pool perfect for off-season getaways.

No need to worry about traffic or finding parking around town, since you'll also be just a short walk away from the best shopping, dining and activities that Duck has to offer. Attend annual events hosted at the Town of Duck amphitheater directly across the street. There's also a public park complete with a soundside boardwalk that takes you on a delightful stroll along the water to a variety of boutiques and restaurants.

Pets allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Duck in April

In general this property was very comfortable for the 4 of us with people working most of the week. The garbage disposal does not work well and the master bath toilet is old and marginal in its performance.
