    Più di una persona mattiniera? Guarda il sole sorgere sull'Oceano Atlantico dal ponte avvolgente ogni mattina, con una tazza di caffè caldo. Goditi i panorami della vita marina mentre giocano nel surf.
    Rilassati sul ponte di notte dopo una lunga giornata in spiaggia, mentre osservi le stelle in una serata costiera nitida e chiara. Comodo per le famiglie con bambini, basta disimballare, rilassarsi e ricaricare! Molto comodo per due importanti campi da golf sulle Outer Banks, a pochi minuti da numerosi campi da golf della zona. Pesca al molo, shopping, film, attività per bambini, generi alimentari e ristoranti sono tutti a pochi minuti di distanza. Esplora lo storico Kitty Hawk Village, fai un tour in kayak serpeggiando lungo i canali o trascorri la giornata al Wright Memorial. Questa casa è situata in posizione centrale rispetto a molte attrazioni locali.

    La storia dietro la nostra casa risale alla seconda guerra mondiale! L'atterraggio di Dolphin era un tempo quartier generale per la Marina degli Stati Uniti prima di essere trasferito sull'Oceano a Kitty Hawk. Con molti lavori di ristrutturazione, è ora, una meravigliosa destinazione di vacanza che è ricca di storia, ricordi e goduta con molti.

The location was centrally located to many shops and restaurants. The beach front property provided for great views of the beach and ocean. Everyone in our family was extremely happy. We will be looking forward to a return visit next summer. We are interested in a beach from property that permits pets, we missed our family dog this year.

Serenity Found at the “Beach Balm” in Kitty Hawk

My family employed staying at the “Beach Balm” last week. This home was directly on the beach and the sand dune separating the home from the beach wasn’t too bad to navigate. The greatest thing about this home was the beach facing deck where I watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning. I definitely recommend this vacation home.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Kitchen was ready for all cooking we did for the week. No household disposable items included so be ready to purchase (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaners, etc.)

Everything is well set up, well appointed, and in good condition. It was the perfect size for our family of four. Really a wonderful week in OBX. My only complaint is not wanting to leave!

Beautiful and Relaxing

We absolutely loved our stay at Beach Balm! We were so close to the beach, we practically felt like we were on the beach while sitting on the deck!There's a bit of a steep dune to climb, but that added to the privacy of the place. Most days, there was 50 yards or more of empty beach on either side between us and the next family on the beach.The new chairs on the deck were perfect for hanging out and enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. The interior was well furnished and had plenty of space for our family of 5.Although the windows downstairs are not large, there are plenty of them, resulting in a lot of natural light in the home.And as far as location, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. You've got a short drive to Duck, Kill Devil Hills, and other nearby areas with plenty of dining and entertainment options.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year and we love this cottage and the location. The only things we noticed were back hand rail needs repair, outside lights need to be repaired, the HVAC air filter needs more attention and replacement. We always have changed the HVAC filter when we stayed. The driveway renovation is excellent. Maybe one day a walk from the rear deck directly to the beach can be considered or a covered back porch. Overall we love this cottage and plan on renting it every year.

So quaint, beautifully decorated, had all the amenities you would need (minus a grill). Being able to walk out your door and walk over a small dune to get right on the beach was AMAZING! The convenience of this little retreat to the beach was just what we needed. At night, we could sit on the deck and listen to the water and even see our kids down on the beach. The Beaxh Balm is a little hidden gem! Highly recommend!!!

Very relaxing!

This property was exceptional! Very clean, & bright, no clutter,, comfortable beds & sofa (easy to clean) & they allows dogs!! Great beach as it wasn’t crowded at all, very private. You have to climb up thedune to get to beach. It would have been great if a charcoal grill was available, might bring your own or a cheap disposable foil version. We ordered the linens & they were clean. The online & check in-out process was easy. Will return!

That dune behind the property can be a challenge when carrying beach gear. This cottage again is a perfect place for us and we will continue to rent it for years to come!!

A wonderful week

Our family of 5 loved our stay at Beach Balm! It was the perfect little beachside oasis. The morning sunrises, frequent dolphin sightings, and the ease of going from beach to house was perfect with little ones. The dune was easy for us to navigate over but I can see how it would be challenging for some. We didn’t mind it at all! The A/C was nice and cold and the outdoor shower was warm and enjoyed by our kids. The couch in the main living area is upgraded from the listing photos and I wanted to share that it is really comfortable and our whole family could snuggle up and watch a movie on it in the evenings. Our favorite local spot was Art’s Place, which had a great live band on Friday night, and the food and drinks were awesome too. We look forward to returning to this property again next year.

With dunes on both sides and no neighboring homes, we had a wide stretch of beach practically to ourselves — it felt private and peaceful, which was wonderful.The home itself was ideal for our family of five, giving everyone plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and dishes we needed, which made cooking most of our meals easy and enjoyable. The property was spotless when we arrived, and we really appreciated the outdoor shower and foot wash station that helped keep the sand outside.This was our first time renting a home in OBX, and it was such a great experience. Since we flew in from out of state, we packed light. The only small surprise was that things like trash bags, laundry detergent, and dishwasher pods weren’t provided, as we’ve had them available in other vacation rentals. It wasn’t a problem since stores are close by, but next time we’ll know to bring a few of those extras with us.Overall, this home was everything we hoped for and more. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this home!

I'm 63 years old and climbing up and down the dune to get to and from the house were very difficult to say the least. And the sand was very hot as you know. Love the updates made to the was beautiful! Our only complaint would be the house was still not clean after 4, and they were done in 15 minutes. Obviously it wasn't as clean as we would expect. But management did say they were short staffed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Recently renovated and awesome view with direct beach access.The space was great for our family of 4 and the deck allowed our pup to be outside a lot and out of the sun (not covered but get plenty of shade). We were bummed to learn they’ll no longer allow pets as we would rent again. Our only hang up with the property was how often were sweeping and vacuuming. I totally get the maintenance free flooring in a beach house to avoid carpet but walking around- you never feel 100% clean and you can’t get into bed without constantly cleaning off your feet. A couple indoor/outdoor rugs would do wonders I would imagine. This could be a twinge of ocd kicking in but.....I should note- there is a hose at the back which was very helpful.

A Perfect View with Some Flaws

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has the most spectacular location and views. It was relaxing and convenient to have such a short distance from our home to the beach. The deck was nicely equipped with many places to sit. The inside of the home was clean and well kept. A unique feature of the home is that the top level and main level have separate air conditioning/heating units, allowing for variable temperature settings depending on preference. The top level stays very cool. On a different note, unfortunately the furniture and bedding made our stay difficult. The couches in the living room are outdoor furniture and are unsupportive. The bedding is extremely uncomfortable as well. It was difficult not having a comfortable place to rest a tired body after enjoying the sun. The kitchen was under-equipped also, missing a spatula and other essentials. If you don’t mind uncomfortable furniture and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, this is a fabulous stay!
