Questo cottage offre qualcosa per tutti. Una piscina scintillante (con piscina riscaldata in primavera e autunno), una vasca idromassaggio che è aperta tutto l'anno e un sacco di decking vicino alla piscina. Ci sono due gazebo sulla proprietà. Uno ospita la vasca idromassaggio in modo che possa essere utilizzato pioggia o sole e l'altro si trova nella zona della piscina per ulteriore ombra (e per gustare uno spuntino)! Ci sono tonnellate di carte e ponti per goderti tutto ciò che offre Outer Banks. L'area della piscina è recintata, rendendola estremamente privata. Il Roundabout Resort dispone di due cucine completamente attrezzate con 2 fornelli / forni, 2 microonde, Keurig Coffee Maker e Standard Coffee Maker, ed è perfetto per le vacanze in famiglia!

Per coloro che vogliono giocare a pallavolo e camminare con il loro familiare a quattro zampe, il cortile è molto spazioso (entrambi i lotti su entrambi i lati della proprietà sono di proprietà del proprietario e sono disponibili per l'uso). L'accesso alla spiaggia è a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal cottage, e per coloro che non vogliono camminare, c'è un parcheggio disponibile all'accesso alla spiaggia.   • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Had to buy all new sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, dish towels ,toilet paper, dead flies all in the windows and dead bugs all over the floors the furniture was either torn and wore out and stained up

The house is very old and in need of updates/repair. The home was not clean. We found trash in dresser drawers, chewed gum on window sills and a dustpan full of dog hair stored in a closet. The air return vent was visably dirty, thick with debris. Grateful for the laundry so we could wash everything. The pool area is small and in poor condition. The home was to accomodate 12 people but the home and outdoor space was to small for all us. The wooden chairs on the patio were broken and gave splinters. The dining table under the paviollion had no cushions and the chipping paint stuck to your body every time you sat on the uncomfortable chairs. Lightbults were burnt out, sofa cushions stained and ripped. The rec room which does have a pool table does not have much more than that. The location was not ideal. You are right on the main road, N Croatan Hwy, so the traffic level is very loud and cars pull into the front of the house at high speeds. The beach is 'walking' distance and easy for an adult. It's a bit far for younger children. Our four kids were ages 4-7 and it was a bit of a haul for them. The yard is full of ant hills, cactus and burs so use extra caution wiith walking your dog in the yard. The play ground is in bad shape - there is a thick sticky residue all over the swing chains. Overall we were very disappointed in this home. It was small, dated, in need of repair, and not well cleaned. Would not recommend.

Nice house/Needs work

The house has a great setup. There are 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen on each floor. The pool is a good size, but needs to be resurfaced. Deck boards and stairs have loose spots and all the boards should be replaced. Gas grill was not usable due to burners rusted out. There are 2 charcoal grills on the property and only 1 was usable due to the grates being rusted. These items were reported to the property management company (Beach Realty) through the app that was recommended. There was no response or repair. The location was great for us. Public Beach access is only a couple of blocks away and it is an easy walk. There are no hotels or public parking around, so the beach in this area was never crowded. The house is walking distance to Jimmy's Seafood, Shipwrecks, and Bad Bean Baja Grill. Be careful crossing the road to Shipwrecks and Bad Bean. I never had a problem, I just needed to be patient. Booking process was deceptive. After filling out the VRBO application and paying deposits, accidental damage insurance, linen fee, and travel insurance, Beach Realty sent a separate link and application. This application mirrored VRBO and asked about travel insurance. Beach Realty did not notify that their travel insurance was separate from VRBO, so I bought 2 policies. Beach Realty advised that VRBO does not relay travel insurance information to them. Even if this is true, they should have a notice on their application that this is separate from VRBO

In major need of updating and a deep clean.

Overall we had a great vacation BUT this property is in serious need of updating and a deep clean. Here are some key points in regards to the needed updates and overall cleanliness; 1) upstairs refrigerator was rusty on the outside and looked corroded in certain spots. 2) downstairs tub with jets was FILTHY. Several kids in our group were excited about the tub but we had to clean each individual jet before letting them use it due to the gunk that was built up in each jet. 3) the inside stairs looked as if they had not been vacuumed in months. 4) the tub/shower in the upstairs bedroom has peeling enamel. 5) pool was clean but the bottom had spots where it was discolored and peeling. 6) outside pool area had weeds growing all around and random debris laying all over the place. 7) the deck around the top floor has wilted boards and nails sticking up. Certain boards seemed as if they would break in half if they were stepped on. We will definitely return to OBX but we don’t anticipate renting out this property in the future.
