Queen Anne's Revenge at the Beach by RedAwning

Come enjoy this original outer banks beach cottage. We have a fully stocked

kitchen where you can prepare your family meals. This cottage features 3

bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms - a total of 2 Queen Beds and 4 Twins.

We have high speed Wi-Fi, a 55 inch smart TV, off street parking and yes, we

are pet friendly!

We are located just across the street from a fantastic beach.



### **The space**



The main, or master bedroom features a queen size bed as well as a twin bed.

The second bedroom features a Queen bed and the third bedroom or kid's room

features 3 twin beds.



This Original Beach Cottage, having been constructed in the 1960's, is updated

with Central Heat/AC, and has everything needed to enjoy a fantastic beach

vacation. Parking is directly in front of the cottage and there is a lockbox

on the unit so that you can check yourself in and out.



We are situated "between the highways" as it's called here on the island,

however we are the second house from the water. It will take you less than one

minute to walk to the beaches.



Even with a thorough modernization, the property is a historical home that is

now over 70 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building

standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its

charm as an older beach cottage. Our bathrooms are not as large as modern

built, even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home.



### **Guest access**



There is a lockbox on the unit. You can check yourself in and out.



Pet Fee is $99 per pet and per stay plus tax and processing fees.



If not disclosed prior to your stay, the pet fee is $300



Pets must be house trained and stay off of bedding and furniture



An Extra Cleaning fee of $99 will be charged to remove pet hair from bedding

or furniture



Extra Charges:



Early Check-In for 1 PM - $75 (if available) Late Check-Out at 1 PM - $75 (if

available)



Normal Check Out is 10 AM. A fee of $45 per hour is charged beginning at

10:05 AM



Cleaners are on a schedule and can not be kept waiting!



This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise. Quiet

hours begin at 9 PM.

Questo cottage si trova a Kitty Hawk e vanta una posizione strategica vicino alla spiaggia. Children at Play Museum e Sea Scape Golf Links sono due tappe fondamentali per chi ama le attività. Per un po' di sano shopping, invece, ci sono Scarborough Lane Shoppes e Outer Banks Mall. Anche Paradise Fun Park e Glazin' Go-Nuts meritano una visita.   • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great location

- location is outstanding - beds are good and comfortable - House is in rough shape. While one can understand the nature of an older home and the quirks which come along with it, neglect is another matter. - Window unit ACs which are not visible in pictures and while they bring welcome relief, they’re not sealed properly and allow a significant number of bugs into the rooms when a light is on - broken beach chairs and other debris are laying around the exterior of the house - Mold and dust visible in multiple areas - Bathrooms- whew. One is not available for sitting as it is too close to the bathtub and also has a window AC unit next to it, which contains a plug but there’s no outlet visible for it to be plugged into??? Pro tip: close the primary bathroom closet door as it gets very hot and wastes the AC, only open it when necessary. Makes a big difference. We are very understanding people but the condition of the house compared to the condition in the photos do not match. It’s a good little house with excellent beach access, just know it’s not quite as charming as the photos depict. Something others have stated in their reviews also.
