    Layout unico-livello superiore dispone di 3 camere da letto 2 e ½ bagni. L'area al piano terra dispone di 1 camera da letto con solo 3 gradini per entrare. Il piano terra dispone anche di ½ vasca e 2 docce esterne chiuse. Si prega di notare che c'è un ingresso esterno separato dal livello del suolo al livello superiore.

    Il livello superiore dispone di una cucina gourmet con 3 forni e ampio spazio di lavoro. La zona giorno offre una zona bar separata con lavandino e una grande vetrata con vista sull'oceano e sulla spiaggia. Appena fuori dalla cucina si trova la sala da pranzo con molti posti a sedere.

    C'è un bagno e mezzo lungo il corridoio con una lavatrice e asciugatrice full size. Appena fuori dal corridoio si trova la camera da letto n. 1 con un letto matrimoniale e l'accesso a un bagno privato. La camera da letto n. 2 avrà una cuccetta di piramide (doppia nella parte inferiore, rotelle sotto. Camera da letto n. 3 è la camera da letto principale e si trova sul lato oceano della casa. Offre un letto king-size e un bagno principale con vasca idromassaggio Jacuzzi di dimensioni standard.

    Camera da letto # 4 si trova al piano terra e ha un letto matrimoniale, lavabo / lavabo, forno a microonde, caffettiera e mini frigorifero.

    Tutte le camere hanno ventilatori a soffitto 2 ventilatori in soggiorno / sala da pranzo. Goditi l'abbondanza di spiaggia a 200 piedi di accesso privato. NON FUMARE, 10 posti letto. Beautiful oceanfront property with private beach. Very clean and comfortable. T. Cargill, property manager, was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Beautiful oceanfront location! Very spacious home with an amazingly well equipped kitchen, everything you could need just like at home. Terry was very responsive prior to our trip, during our trip and at checkout. We will definitely return!

Great representation of Outer Banks

Great representation of Outer Banks - Lovely beach home in Kitty Hawk, nicely decorated with Great deck to watch the sunrise every morning. Plenty of information about local restaurants and attractions supplied by the owner. Great Stay for our first visit to the Outer Banks.

Great stay in Kitty Hawk

We had a great time staying here. Kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of space. Very quick walk over a dune to get to the beach and great views from the upper deck. The younger kids had a great time playing on the lower level under the deck too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Ocean front is the way to go!

The home was very clean and it was so nice being Ocean front and not having to drag all the necessities for a day at the beach across roadways. We enjoyed Beautiful views from inside the home as well as the top deck!

Amazing location and charming home

This house was absolutely perfect! The location had easy access to restaurants and stores. It was like having a private beach because of the distance to other properties! The deck was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. The home was exactly as advertised - the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. We enjoyed everything about this place and will definitely book again.The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this property for couples or families!

Great Vacation

The house was exactly as listed and had everything you could want or need in a vacation rental. The location was perfect. We watched dolphins from the deck almost every day. Our dog loved hanging out on the large deck and the gate kept him safe. We ate dinner on the deck several nights as the sun was setting- lovely. Terry’s house is perfect for an OBX vacation!

Our second stay

This was our second stay at this property and it was a great place for our family vacation including kids, grandparents, and a dog. We had a minor maintenance issue which the owner handled immediately. Very pleased with the experience!

Mermaid Cottage

The house has one of the best views of the ocean of any oceanfront house we have ever stayed in. Stocked well, appliances were in excellent condition, and the outside and inside of the cottage were spotless. House is bigger and brighter than photos.

Relaxing Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week at the Mermaid! The house was so cute and charming. The location was everything! The beach being so close made it so nice going back and forth to the house with our kids. Everything was nearby in terms of shopping, restaurants etc. Terry was very easy to contact and returned texts right away. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time! Especially when the dolphins swam by!

Best OBX vacation ever!

House was right on the beach with an amazing deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Best part of every day was enjoying morning coffee pre-dawn through sunrise on the deck. Second best part of the day was cooking in the best-stocked kitchen I have ever encountered in a rental house. The downstairs room was perfect and private for visiting family members. Owner was friendly and responsive to all inquiries and requests. We would stay here again without question.

Would stay again

The property is just as pictured. It is very clean. We had never been to OBX, so we toured the Wright Brothers Memorial, the Corolla lighthouse, the Whalehead Mansion and did some shopping. The beach is not busy at all this time of year. The views are gorgeous. The deck is so big and nice. Terry has everything you need in the kitchen to cook.

Great Kitty Hawk vibe!

We had a lovey stay at this property (4 adults and a dog). There are no surprises here – the house was exactly as pictured and described, was very clean, very well-equipped and consistent with the reviews. The house feels very spacious with the high ceilings and open layout, and you can enjoy the beach front view even from the couch. While it is a tad dated, the kitsch adds to the charm & fancy-free OBX beach feel. We were fortunate to have great weather and were able to fully enjoy the beach & the deck! Kitty Hawk has a great vibe, Terry was a great, responsive host & we would definitely stay here again. Things someone might want to know: • The dune is very steep. There are steps at the bottom of the house side, along with a little walkway to help with traction. You’re on your own on the seaside. While it was no issue for us, it could be quite difficult for someone with mobility issues. • As clearly stated in the description, the fourth bedroom is under the main house with a separate entrance. It may not be suitable for everyone, so keep that in mind. You have to leave the room to access the toilet & outdoor shower. I would not have wanted to stay down there alone, but that’s just me. • Proximity to the road was a worry for me but totally was not an issue. Your whole focus will be on the ocean that is right at your doorstep! The deck is spacious, solid & secure. The heavy gate latches from both sides, so no worries about kids and pets! Great time overall!

Amazing house right on the beach!

The Mermaid is a beautiful house fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a fabulous stay in Kitty Hawk, Outerbanks. We felt truly spoiled staying here- location, views, amenities, space to relax -everything! The deck is amazing - we spent so much time relaxing and soaking up the sun via the huge, oceanfront deck! Thank you, Terry, for sharing your house- this little slice of heaven with me and my family! ❤️

Great family friendly vacation house

House was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The deck was a great place for our kids to play in the sun when we weren't on the beach. The area below the main house is very unique and convenient with shower and bathroom when coming back from the beach. Our only difficulty was with the sizable dune between the house and the beach that made it difficult for young and elderly family members to access the beach.
