This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is located in the Carolina Dunes community of Duck. At Carolina Dreamin, you're a short drive from great local shopping, dining, and more within the town of Duck. Plus, Carolina Dreamin offers you easy direct beach access via your own private walkway and an outdoor shower to rinse off salt and sand for your convenience! When you want to get out of the sun but still have some fun, Carolina Dreamin features a rec room with a foosball table and a flat-screen TV.

Inside Carolina Dreamin, you'll find classic Outer Banks beach box decor and absolutely stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The living area is open and allows you to spend time with family and friends easily. Watch your favorite movies and TV shows together or just lounge and relax for a while. The spacious kitchen features plenty of counter space and is well equipped to prepare meals during your visit. With dining room table seating for 8 and additional breakfast bar seating for 4, there's space for everyone to enjoy meals together. You can even choose to dine right outside on the furnished sun deck complete with 4 person table and picnic table; giving you the best ocean views. The sun deck is also the ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. You'll find your very own private hot tub on the sundeck as well! When it's time for bed, head to one of the spacious bedrooms for a restful night's sleep; 2 of which have the most beautiful views of the ocean.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect Old School Beach House

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this nostalgic wood paneled beach house where a spacious living area looks out on the ocean and reminds you why you are there. We walked on the beach, used the hot tub, made dinner and enjoyed local restaurants, wild horse tour and nearby shopping. Perfect long weekend in November.

The property is located directly on the sand in a location and area that cannot be beat. Overall, the house is great with a large kitchen and open concept, dining and living room. The bathrooms on the main level are very small and it is an awkward layout because each of them have two doors so you are always hitting your elbow on a door knob There is new flooring throughout the main level
