Another Day Of Sun - Oceanside 4 BR home w/Hot Tub - 500 feet to beach access

You're going to love this charming vacation home located in the rolling dunes of Sea Ridge and Osprey. Relax in the private hot tub and enjoy the short walk to the beach (500 feet to beach access) and community pool. There is also a short walk to the water sports facility, restaurant and bar located across Duck Road (sound side) from the Sea Ridge community where you can view fabulous sunsets while enjoying your favorite beverage at the bar. This home is well located with a number of updates over the last several years. Most recently the top floor bed, bath and sitting room, lower floor bathroom has been renovated and landscaping has been done so you may enjoy the yard. Past improvements include the deck, living room and sun-room off kitchen.

Bedroom (with King and private bathroom) with deck access.

Level 2:
Great room with CATV, dining area, kitchen; 2 bedrooms (1 with 2 Doubles and private bathroom; 1 with 2 Bunk sets); full hall bath; laundry.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
