With 3,000 square feet of open and airy design, The Porter House offers a refreshing retreat in the heart of Duck. Enjoy easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach, all within a short walk.

Level 1:
1 bedroom with Pyramid bunk. Game room with pool/ping pong table, Pac Man Galaga arcade game, poker/game table, Bluetooth speaker, 50” HDTV. Family-friendly books, puzzles, and games. Kitchenette has full sink, refrigerator and full bath. Laundry.

Level 2:
4 bedrooms (3 with Queen, 1 with Twins, each with private bath with tub and shower).

Level 3:
Great room with 50" HD Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. King bedroom with private bathroom (bath with tub and shower); powder room in hall.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful Duck

Lovely home with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful beach week. We loved the pool and all the extras in the shed. Great chairs, cart, etc. We will rent it again!!
