Newly installed heated pool! Located just 20 yards from beach access, enjoy the fresh, ocean breeze from this semi-oceanfront beach cottage. Relax with your morning coffee on the large front deck as you listen to the waves. Enjoy quiet evenings on the screened porch after a fun day at the beach or play a few rounds of shuffleboard, horseshoes or corn hole. Owners have provided books, games, and movies for a relaxing vacation at the shore. Desks in two bedrooms to work remotely and mesh WiFi for fast connectivity.

Pelican Perch is located directly across the street from beach access, on a quiet, low-traffic road. You are only steps away from relaxing in the sand!

4 bedrooms (1 with King; 1 with Queen; 1 with Pyramid bunk plus an additional twin; 1 with standard bunk set plus an additional twin), 2 baths (1 with tub and shower), living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceiling.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
