Sea Glass Shack 4 Bedroom Home in Southern Shores

Welcome to the Sea Glass Shack by KEES Vacations!


This new 4-Bedroom, 3-and-a-half bath home is located in the desirable Southern Shores area of the Outer Banks. The beautiful decor, modern touches to this house (check out those lovely floors!) and the spaciousness will allow you to enjoy the best vacation ever! The beach is close by and by being in Southern Shores, you are close to great restaurants, shopping, and activities.

Guests at this home will be able to enjoy many of the amenities of the Southern Shores Civic Association. This includes access to all 33 beach access walkways and dune crossovers in Southern Shores. Also, this property is steps away from the intersection at Hillcrest Drive and a short 5-minute walk to the beach parking area which has 2 showers, toilets, a gazebo, benches and a viewing platform. Both the beach and viewing platform are wheelchair accessible. Please also enjoy the Soundview Park on North Dogwood Trail which includes a children's playground, picnic tables, charcoal grill, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, park benches, a kayak launching platform and a relaxing sandy beach. You will also be able to visit the Sunset Platform on North Dogwood Trail includes a seating area overlooking a sandy beach, a great spot for sunset viewings!

On the first level, there is a Full-size Bedroom, Full Hall Bathroom, and a washer and dryer.

Step on up to the second level and you will find a King En Suite, a lovely kitchen area with an island, the Living Room, Dining Area, and Half Bathroom. The modern beachy feel of this home will provide complete relaxation for everyone.

Continue upstairs to the third level and find a Queen Bedroom, 2 Twin Bedrooms w/ 2 Trundles, and a Jack and Jill Full Bathroom. There is plenty of sleeping space and several options for where to sleep!

Enjoy the comfortable and welcoming furniture on the new expansive deck. Grab a book and your favorite beverage while you listen to the tranquility of the Outer Banks. You'll be nestled amongst the trees giving you a complete feeling of relaxation and a sense of privacy. Enjoy the outdoor table to gather and enjoy a great meal with your group.

Spend the night hanging out in the backyard in the comfortable Adirondack chairs and firepit, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill for the grill master in the group. There is an extra covered picnic table to enjoy as well.

Rinse the beach or lotion off your body in the outdoor shower.

This property has 3 parking spots for guests.

Check-In begins at 4pm.Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

Check-in was easy since you’re given the door code several days in advance. The kitchen could use a sharp chef’s knife, but otherwise had what is needed — crock pot, blender, toaster, coffee machine. The house is a short five minute walk to the beach where there is a lifeguard and porta potties. The only thing tricky is you have to cross one busy road. To walk to the cross walk, you have to walk through brush that can be hard to maneuver depending on the person’s age. It’d be helpful if a small footpath was made from the house to the crosswalk. Overall, we had a great stay. Bedrooms, bathrooms, back porch were all comfortable.
