Waterfront Stunning Beach Home with Amazing Sunset Views

Gorgeous, renovated, quiet waterfront townhome in Duck NC on the outer banks. Enjoy the best of everything- quiet sunsets, soundfront pool, tennis, pickleball, fishing and water sports right outside your door. Gorgeous beach just across the street (walk or free easy parking). Walk, bike, kayak or drive to the Duck shops, boardwalk and restaurants (about a mile). Amazing location with access to everything. Beautiful views, adjustable vibrating beds with luxury mattresses, and beach and sound toys galore! New to VRBO but 5 stars on Airbnb!

Welcome to our beautiful home in Duck in North Carolina’s Outer Banks!

Duck is a gorgeous and fun little town. It is highlighted as one of the most charming summer beach vacations on the east coast. Our family has been coming here for over 40 years. It has always been a dream for us to own a little piece of heaven here in Duck and it finally came true! We love it here and enjoy sharing our tranquil waterfront home with other families.

You will be staying in our dream home and we take care of it as such. What that means is that we keep everything updated and include free amenities the whole family can enjoy. You will arrive to a kitchen with all the appliances you need. The silverware, dinnerware, and utensils are renewed each season so you can enjoy meals with your family as you would at home. The shed is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach and the sound including but not limited to chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, bikes, and boogie boards. You do not have to haul things here from home or pay for additional rentals and purchases. It is all already here for you so you can simply relax and enjoy.

After all the years we’ve been coming to the outer banks, we believe we found the perfect waterfront vacation spot and our guests have told us time and time again that they love it here and that we are by far the best value for waterfront accommodations in Duck. This is our second home and we ask guests to treat it as their own home! This is NOT a party house.

Master – King sized zero gravity adjustable vibrating bed with luxury mattress. En suite bath. Sound view and deck off the master bedroom.

Bedroom two – King sized zero gravity adjustable vibrating bed with luxury mattress.

Second renovated full bath featuring tiled shower.

There are three TVs and wifi internet access. The TVs are internet TVs and have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime available if you subscribe to these services but NO CABLE.

If booked for your preferred dates, we have two other beautiful soundfront properties in Duck.

The Sanderling Spa e Pine Island Racquet & Fitness Center sono due tappe fondamentali per gli amanti delle attività. Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Needs work for 5000 for a week!

Overall, I would give 5 stars to location, residential beach area and communication with owner. Less than 5 stars:cleanliness…I don’t think this is the owners fault as they use an agency I am sure. Issues:bedding had human hair all over, I changed out to my own sheets. The mattress protector had all sorts of stains on it as well. floors covered in dirt on entry to the townhome. There is no vacuum to use, just a dirty broom and filthy sponge mop.bathrooms noted with mold upper and lower.kitchen pans, blender were dirty and in the cabinets. Had to clean prior to use.barstool cushions are gross, stains, food noted. Even husband would not sit on it.furniture..outdated and uncomfortable. outside, the decks need power washing as does the townhome both entry and back deck. Looks like it not been done in ages. Lots of mold, mildew spiders and such. Other renters were commenting on the appearance. I felt embarrassed and it is not even my own.property facilities, need to be cleaned. The entry area to the pool is absolutely disgusting. The area around the pool in disrepair and needs maintenance. Outside the townhome, around the pool a very strong sewer smell was noted by us and other renters. bedding, this is not luxury bedding. You have sheets and a duvet insert that does not even fit the bed. There were no extra blankets in the home. This would be nice as some get cooler than others. A throw blanket or two would have been great. Fair at best!

Beautiful Sound Views and Convenient Location

We enjoyed our stay here! The views of the sound are beautiful and the home is perfectly setup to enjoy the sunset. The home was spotless and comfortable. It is less than five minutes north of dining, shopping and water activities in Duck. If the beach is your destination, it's a close drive/walk of less than a mile. Highly recommend this home if you're planning to stay in Duck, NC!
