Sit on your private dock and enjoy the amazing sunsets and stargazing, rent a paddle board or kayak and see the wildlife along the sound. Walk to the beach and enjoy swimming, sunrises, building sandcastles and long walks to the pier. Located in the exclusive Sanderling resort community, a family favorite! You are sure to enjoy the soundside community outdoor pool, soundside boat launch, tennis courts and fitness center. Baydream is just minutes north of the heart of Duck Village where you can enjoy boutique shopping and a variety of dining options. This is the perfect place for your Outer Banks family vacation getaway or quiet retreat!

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a boardwalk walkway to your own Soundfront private dock with stairs for easy small craft launching. Carport with picnic table and outside shower, charcoal grill and parking for 4 cars.

Mid Level: Entry level. Great room with flat-screen TV and sound views! Kitchen with counter seating for 3, dining room seating for 8 and access to the screened porch and Soundfront dock. Queen Bedroom that shares a full hall bathroom with another Queen Bedroom. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Open loft with 2 Double Beds and sound views, full hall bathroom and a Queen Master Bedroom with private bathroom and sound views!

Extras: Soundfront dock, TV, high speed internet, washer / dryer, books, games, screened porch, picnic table, charcoal grill, outside shower, sound views, parking for 4 vehicles, linens and towels provided and community pool and tennis (nominal use fee for tennis). No Smoking. No Pets. Full week rentals only. House Address: 107 Royal Tern Lane, Duck. Beds: 3 Queens, 2 Doubles. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
