Bella posizione per visitare la città storica e il suo lago Ottima accoglienza in un albergo molto " austriaco " nel buon senso visto la decorazione interna. Parcheggio esterno molto vicino e commodo. Perfetto per un soggiorno breve in questa bella città

Ha bisogno di ristrutturazione
La posizione e' fantastica, ma l'hotel e' vetusto. Lo stile e' classico ma le condizioni di manutenzione sono scarse. È' pulito, ma molto, troppo usurato. Wifii non funzionava. Personale gentile comunque.

Eintauchen in vergangene Zeiten
Mit den vielen Gemälden in den Gängen und Zimmern kommt es einem so vor, als würde man in einem Museum wohnen. Der Marmor, die Stofftapeten und alten Möbel wirken sehr authentisch, nur die paar moderneren, technischen Geräte(Fehrnseher, altes Telefon - aber nicht alt genug für den Stil) trüben das Bild etwas. Der alte Stil ist Geschmackssache, mir hat er jedoch sehr gut gefallen. Für den vielen Stoff und die ganzen Teppiche war es überraschend sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist relativ klein, aber umfasste trotzdem ein paar luxuriösere Speisen, wie Lachs und Honigwabe und bot auch verschiedenes Obst. Das Personal an Rezeption und beim Frühstück war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr geehrter Gast!Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. All unsere Möbel, Teppiche und Gemälde wirken so authentisch weil sie es auch sind. Die Eigentümer haben vor ungefähr 40 Jahren angefangen Antiquitäten und Gemälde von Namenhaften Künstlern zu sammeln und diese im Hotel zu präsentieren. Unsere technischen Geräte wie TV und Telefone halten wir natürlich immer auf dem neuesten Stand. Ich habe Ihr Lob natürlich an meine Kolleginnen weitergeleitet. Wir hoffen Sie bald wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.

The room was beautiful and also very functional. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of local foods and homemade poppyseed cake many mornings to go with the coffee! The staff were all very nice and helpful, making us feel like we were in their home rather than a hotel. This is a special place in Klagenfurt!

20-21 July Dishonest management and awful smell. We came late and were moved a couple of times due to unfinished repairs and awful smell. Three of us were walking .from room to room. We end up in a stinky suit and had to sleep with open windows. Every time we moved to a new room, a girl from reception gave us an apology and said that the price is the same. Nothing alarming, it's standard procedure in all hotels around the world. We were tired after all day driving but it was ok. The girl was polite and apologetic. She said she was new. But it wasn't the worst part of our stay. After a pleasant breakfast, we were hit with the news that we have to pay almost 5 times the original price. We tried to explain but we were rudely interrupted by lady who appears to be a manager. She demanded the whole payment and threatened to call the police. She was very rude and just repeated we have to pay or she calls the police. She said she had no information about the previous night. So we welcomed the idea to call the police. As soon as the police came price dropped to 1.6 original price. And she demonstrated full knowledge of events of the previous night. So she lied to us through her teeth all the time. We didn't have time to argue and the police advised to pay that reduced price. If you enjoy being yelled at, scammed of your money, sleeping in a stinky room this is the place for you.

Dear Mr. Tulchynsky! Normally I would apologize to my guests if they aren’t happy with the room or our hotel. Luckily this does not happen very often. You booked a single room with one bed for 75€ per night. When you arrived in the middle of the night, as a couple, my colleague gave you a double room, with two seperate beds, considering you did not arrive alone. After half an hour you came back and complained about the room because you wanted a double bed. You never mentioned anything about a smell, just that you wanted to change rooms because you didn’t like the separate beds. Now comes the part were I really have to apologize because my colleague showed you a room that is being renovated, hence the smell you have been complaining about. The second she noticed her mistake she showed you a different room. You saw the room maybe for two minutes and never stayed there because it is under construction. Because all our other rooms were booked and nothing else was available she had to give you our big suite. She certainly did tell you that the room would cost more but that there was no other option than either staying in the first room or pay extra to get the suite. The next morning after you both enjoyed a full breakfast, we wanted to prepare the bill for you, you did not want to pay for the second guest (which you didn’t book in the first place but who slept in your room) and furthermore you did not understand why you had to pay more. After a long discussion I had no other choice than calling the police. Even when the police arrived you did not see a reason to pay for the second person and the room you stayed in. In the end I just gave up and the police told me it would be best if I gave you the suite for free and just bill you for the second person because you didn’t seem to understand why you had to pay more. I am mostly sorry for my staff who all work very hard everyday and try to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible. Our hotel does not appreciate or tolerate disrespectful behaviour toward our staff and stand by our team. Best wishes, Andrea Biró Hotel Management

Empire vom feinsten. Vollkommen Barock Überladung mit einer ganz eigenen Note. Ein ungewöhnliches Ambiente, zwischen Rokoko und Biedermeier mit ganz vielen Details. Dass dieses Hotel nicht von Japanern (wahrscheinlich zu wenige Zimmer) überlaufen ist, verwundert. Wer also mal eine Reise ins frühe 19. Jahrhundert machen möchte, ist hier vom Ambiente richtig. Das Hotel selbst ist aber als solches vollkommen in Ordnung und entspricht der Kategorie. Steckdosen in den Zimmern sind Mangelware was es für Business-Reisende wohl weniger empfehlenswert macht. Lage ist ausgezeichnet, die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber praktisch (und auch im typischen überladenen Barock-Stil mit Kristallleuchter und Vintage-Tapete. Alles in Allem muss einem das gefallen.

Ein Hotel wie aus früheren Zeiten, möbliert wie im "Schloss". Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl: Personal äusserst freundlich, hilfsbereit. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Lage perfekt: Mitten in der Stadt, Tiefgarage gleich nebenan. An diesen Ort kommt man gerne zurück.

Sehr geehrte Frau Anlanger! Danke für Ihre Bewertung. Allerdings haben Sie etwas missverstanden, denn der Schlüssel KANN abgegeben werden, muss aber nicht! Dies ist eine Serviceleistung für unsere Gäste, da unser Hotel von 00.00 bis 24.00 Uhr besetzt ist. Leider haben Sie während Ihres Aufenthaltes nicht erwähnt, dass Sie ein Zimmer mit Dusche bevorzugen, denn Sie waren auf einem Zimmer mit Badewanne, das ist sehr schade! Die Bodylotion ist ein Qualitätsprodukt der Firma Schüller, sehr schade, dass Sie auch damit nicht zufrieden waren, denn bis dato haben wir noch nie etwas Negatives über unsere Pflegeprodukte gehört. Was das Telefon betrifft, möchte ich mich entschuldigen, denn das hat tatsächlich nicht funktioniert und wir danken für den Hinweis, denn wir könnten es bereits austauschen! Broken elevator to 5th floor and inadequate air conditioning for humidity did not match level of service expected. Front desk staff hospitable.

Dear Guest! Our elevator is not and was never broken. Our rooms are just on the third and fourth floor! In Austria we generally do not have stronger air conditioners- we are sorry that your room was too humid.
