Piccolo cortile chiuso. Parcheggio (1 auto). Pacchetto di benvenuto. Animali da tenere sotto stretto controllo. Vietato fumare.. Questa struttura indipendente si trova nella valle del Teme, tra splendide campagne al confine tra Galles e Shropshire. La zona è un paradiso per escursionisti in quanto è vicino a Offa's Dyke, Glyndwr’s Way, Mortimer Trail e Shropshire Hills, AONB. I proprietari hanno ideato una serie di passeggiate locali che possono essere raggiunte dalla porta di casa. Knighton, a 3 miglia, offre negozi indipendenti, pub, ristoranti e il Dyke Center di Offa. I castelli della zona includono Ludlow, Powys e Clun. Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, il Royal Welsh Showground e le città mercato di Newtown e Welshpool sono facilmente raggiungibili. Negozio e ristorante 3 miglia, pub ½ miglio.

Fino a un solo cane, da tenere sempre al guinzaglio a causa del bestiame circostante. Cortile chiuso. Ci sono gocce nel parco e un fiume nelle vicinanze.

Lovely host, I net Phil and he was very friendly helpful. I didn't meet Rebecca but benefitted from the lovely walks she planned and printed out. Unfortunately the local pub was unable to do food due to unforeseen circumstances which was a real shame. Knighton a short drive away was the nearest place to eat out.

Beautiful place to stay for some much needed peace and quiet - very private and our elderly dog absolutely loved his time here, which was priceless to see. Wonderful and friendly owners. The Castle Inn pub was a nice 25 minute walk away for us and allowed our dog to come in and visit. We visited amid COVID restrictions so there were some limitations however preparations to deal with this were excellent. The owners were very helpful. This is a very small property but comfortable. We did not use the shared garden which was beautiful because it felt intrusive in the circumstances. We chose this place because it is not a popular tourist area (and there are few tourist amenities) but excellent for walking. The walks outlined by the owners were very good and their local knowledge important as the maintenance of some public footpaths not good. Nevertheless great place to walk from. Knighton has a good CoOp and a couple of places to eat but in the restricted circumstances we did not visit these. We had a lovely week of good weather, walking and relaxing. Our 7th visit to this lovely lodge and the more I stay the more I want to return! Hospitality is excellent and attention to detail is exceptional! Lovely area ~ great base for exploring both Shropshire and wales! The cottage is so comfortable, well equipped and excellent value for money! Can’t wait to return!

This was a great place to relax.

This was a great place to relax. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us around. He had also provided a secluded area by the river to relax. The area is ideal for walking and never moved the car until we left. The owner also provided tried and tested routes from the cottage. They were lovely. We really enjoyed the time there.
