Koh Chang afslapning
Hyggeligt sted med god placering, med hav på begge sider, hvis man ønsker ro og afslapning. Virker mere autentisk i denne ende af Koh Chang. Skøn pool og god frisklavet morgenmad. Bang Bao pier ligger i gåafstand med mange gode restauranter og transport til andre øer. Fede værelser i stor størrelse, dog ved at være lidt slidt i kanterne. Nemt og hjælpsomt personale. Kan klart anbefales.

4 dage i Nirvana
Nirvana resort har været en skøn oplevelse i rigtig thai resort stil. Fantastisk eksotisk stil og område, midt i junglen og med hav på begge sider. Dog lidt slidt, men det skader ikke helhedsoplevelse. Meget afslappet atmosfære og placeret i et stille område men kort afstand til flere gode restauranter omkring bang bao molen.

Værelser og personale meget fint
Værelse og personale er meget fint. Til gengæld er belægningen på poolområdet meget mangelfuld med søm og skruer som stikker op alle vegne - lidt farligt. Meget træværk og vedligelse af bygninger trænger til en kærlig hånd. Det flyder med affald på land og vand alle vegne. Der er ingen der tager initiativ til at ryde op. Lidt langt til stranden men gratis transport en gang dagligt.

Schöner Resort direkt am Meer. Jedoch ist es nicht in der nähe von einem richtigen Strand. Man muss dazu ca. 15min mit dem Roller fahren. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und haben einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Das einzige Negative war, dass ich in meinem Bungalow kein Wlan hatte obwohl das eigentlich inbegriffen war. Naja, die Welt geht desshalb nicht unter. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Resort Erfahrung.

チェックインの時にスコールが降っていましたが、コテージまで荷物を持って傘をさして案内してくれました。着いたのも遅くてお腹が空いていたのでレストランの食事をオーダーしたら客室まで届けてくれました。優しい対応にここに宿泊できて大満足でした。

The Resort is rundown, not maintained at all. Poor service, no restaurant or bar. The bathroom was not clean (hair in shower, tampon in bin), the towels are yellow/brownish although they were supposed to be white. Dogs and their excrements all over the place/beach. No TV, only DVD rental. The wood planks around the pool urgently need renovation.

the time you where here it was low season and we where builing up for high season we just signed a new contract with a one star michelin chef cook that no one can provide on the island . all your problem are being solved as we speak , we have new maintenace staff and the renovations on bungalow an pool area are already finished , what you forgot to mention is what our resort and team did for you to make up for these unconvinious while you where here , the extras coffees (liters ) transportations for free and so many more we did for you both, so we are very surpriced and disepoited that you even want to give a reaction like this . but no worries the time u where here and now are two different resorts with high class restaurant and services ,hopefully the next resort or hotel will be also as flexibles as ours with your late payments and demands many greetings mangement team

Le resort est placée dans un site époustouflant de beauté, les chambres sont superbes les matériaux nobles... Le personnel aimable et courageux. Courageux car faisant de sens mieux malgré le manque évident d'un management efficace. C'est dommage pour un si bel endroit, mais en même temps cela explique peut-être des tarifs si raisonnable pour un endroit si exceptionnel. . Alors dans le fond tant mieux on en retiendra que le meilleur...

Good quiet small resort with great staff
Stayed for five nights while I did some scuba diving, handy to the boat pier so that worked for me. Staff all friendly and very helpful, nice pool for a dip after a day out or just to sit and chill out by. While an older resort I would happily stay again here when I visit Koh Chang.

Das Resort hat eine traumhafte Lage. Beide Pools sind zum Wohlfühlen. Das Angebot im Restaurant ist reichlich. Das Restaurant schließt leider recht früh, so dass ein Absacker an der Bar nicht möglich ist. Die Zimmer haben einen gewissen Charme und sind großzügig, sind aber leider in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Anstrich würde Wunder bringen. Die Betten waren dreckig (blutig). Ein Wechseln der Bettwäsche wurde auch gleich getätigt, aber die Matrazen waren unter aller Kanone. Es werden Shuttles zum nahegelgenen Sandstrand und zum Pier angeboten.

Yes we will now be busy as usual at the end of season checking everything ...those jobs like a new curtain rings and painting etc have to wait till rooms are empty again...we simply could not get in as running at 95 % since December

Too private for us.
No shops around hotel. Hotel restaurant not showing menus,close very fast. If restaurant close no place to eat...have to go buy some food by car.

Yes unfortunately we are about peace and privacy ....sadly it is difficult to find shops and privacy these days ....we have full menus available and the restaurant will stay open indefinitely if there are customers otherwise will shut at 10pm ....It would appear that you did not take advantage of our free service to Bang Bao pier, go and return ....lot's of restaurants aqnd shops in 4 minutes

My Nirvana dream!
We felt absolutely at home here. Things were perfect. Very quiet, great room, and good service. The restaurant was excellent and we ended up eating there everyday during our 6 day stay. The pool is a dream with a great view across the bay. Would definately go back. This is a place to relax and enjoy.

很舒服的房間。
非常棒的房間，家具很漂亮，小缺點是浴室水量太少，熱水不足，房子跟海邊有間隔一條馬路，所以會有摩托車跟汽車經過的聲音，除了車聲這裡其實很寧靜，泳池小巧但還夠用，距離跳島搭船的地方，騎摩托車五分鐘，距離附近的沙灘也是摩托車五分鐘，這裡有很多野生的猴子，靜靜的待在房間可以看到猴子在陽台休息。早餐鬆餅非常美味，日出跟夕陽都很美。

Nirvana onderscheid zich van andere resorts!
Dit resort heeft een heel eigen en unieke stijl. Het is ontzettend relaxed om hier te verblijven en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Alles kan en is ok. Het ligt helemaal in het zuiden van het eiland maar ook heel mooi in een baai waar je de zee aan twee kanten hebt en waar mensen komen om de zonsondergang te zien. Het eten is prima - ik las ergens dat iemand vond dat de kok niet kon koken - daar kan ik me helemaal niet in vinden. Ze hebben de beste en de verste vis die dagelijks gevangen wordt en voor je klaar gemaakt - helemaal super een ervaring die je nergens anders krijgt. Kortom een hele fijne en bijzonder plek!

Det var anden gang vi besøgte Nirvana, og vi havde en forventning om at tingene ville være som for fire år siden. Vi blev skuffede. Vi blev dårligt modtaget, uden ordentlig info om noget som helst. Resortet er nedslidt og personalet virker demotiverede. Man glemmer den daglige rengøring. Indleveret vasketøj er 3 dage undervejs. Den daglige transport til Bang Bao kører før tiden og chaufføren har ikke fået at vide hvem der skal med. Vi kommer aldrig tilbage og vi vil ikke anbefale det til andre.

Excellent resort in a very privilege area. The staff is very nice. Specially the receptionist Called Ning. If I go again to Koh chang I'll be there for sure.

Best place on Koh Chang!
This was our third time at Nirvana and it was as wonderful as ever! Friendly staff, great bungalows and amazing views. Nirvana is still the best place to go if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy peace and quiet in a genuine friendly atmosphere.

Great hotel, just don't eat dinner there.
Great hotel and location. The only negative was the restaurant for dinner... even some staff advised us to go elsewhere for dinner. We were tired and didn't feel like going elsewhere. Big mistake. The food was edible but it wasn't very good. We didn't make that mistake on the remaining nights. The waiter was great, it wasn't his fault the dinner food was subpar. The breakfast at the hotel was great. The service was excellent and the staff was very responsive to our needs. The location of the restaurant is excellent, you can see both coasts from the tables, the environment is awesome, so not being able to enjoy the dinners there was disappointing. Aside from that issue this place was great and we would return again.

Beautiful and peaceful, loved it!
We had a wonderful stay at Nirvana and we extended our stay there. Nice pool area with hammocks, relaxing atmosphere, great view, amazing and friendly staff that we got to know well, just loved it!! I would definitely go back there if ever again in Koh Chang. No good beach right at resort but they can arrange transport to close by beaches or you can rent vespas

Max chill!
Nirvana Resort var for min kæreste og jeg det perfekte sted at få slappet helt af og bare få chillet igennem efter en hektisk ferie med rigtig mange oplevelser. Maden på resortet er ok, men ikke noget vildt - til gengæld er personalet rigtig venlige og de laver nogle fantastiske drinks. Stedet ligger rigtig lækkert med den ene side ud til en bugt og den lille by Bang Bao, og den anden side ud til havet. Husk at oplev en solnedgang på deres Sunset Deck - det er et skønt sted at slappe af og nyde en god drink.

Den första bungalows vi fick stank av mögel så den vägrade vi bo i,efter ett tag blev vi erbjudna en annan som vi med tvekan godkände ,i denna luktade det mer gammalt trä.Nu när vi kommit hem så känner man lukten från kläder och väskor. Hela området som Nirvana ligger på är väldigt fint men badvattnet är smutsigt från Bang Bao fiskeby så man får åka till annan strand om man inte vill ligga vid polen. Alla byggnader är väldigt dåligt underhållna utvändigt med söndriga tak upprosstade takrännor och ruttet trävirke. Vi fick reda på att Nirvana är tillsalu.

An extremely cozy hotel
This is just a fantastic hotel in beautiful surroundings. The pool in the forest, the sun deck and the view from the restaurant all adds up to an unforgettable stay.

Vi er glade for at have valgt Nirvana, fordi det ligger forholdsvist isoleret i forhold til alle de mange andre hoteller på Koh Chang. Samtidig ligger det i bekvem afstand til Bang Bao, hvor der er et fint udvalg af restauranter og butikker samt adgang til dykkershops. Hytterne er fine og området bliver holdt pænt. Det er en absolut fordel, at der kun er 16 hytter, så man slipper for at havne midt i et turisthelvede. Eneste kritikpunkter er, at de gange, vi troede, vi lavede en aftale med receptionisten, så fulgte han ikke op på det, så vi var hver gang nødt til selv at tage affære alligevel. Rengøringen af rummet var udmærket, men vi skulle rykke for rene håndklæder, sæbe og shampoo.

Mysigt hotell som har det där "lilla extra", klipphyllan vid solnedgången, god frukost, trevlig personal. Lagom gångavstånd till Bang Bao med restauranger o butiker o båtarna ut till öarna. Tyvärr har hotellet inte fått det underhåll o reparation det så väl behöver. Se upp med soldäcket vid poolen, det är undermåligt, hängrännor sönderrostade mm mm. Trots detta är hotellet fortfarande en liten pärla.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und ist ein richtiges Juwel. Leider wird es schlecht betrieben und damit ist die Preis/Leistung leider nicht zufriedenstellend.

Paradijs.
Geweldig resort, zeker één van de mooiste van het eiland. Hier kom je echt tot rust en het mooiste strand lig op 5 minuten rijden afstand. Het enige minpunt ligt er afgelegen en s'avonds is alles dicht. Tip: huur een scooter en je komt overal.

A eco friendly dream in need of revival
A great idea and a great place/hotel eco friendly however it has fallen into limbo the past years I think, it is a great location in a difficult place to reach on the tip of the island however in need of a lot of repair on walkways and sundecks and pool decks. great rooms and great views and fantastic breakfast place and overall really good service - nice restaurants and beach near by , but a bit difficult to reach this place and you can not walk to the pier and beach need to use hotel shuttle 5-10 min and taxi back in evenings. Diving boats and diving trips to the islands outside is a must really good snorkeling and diving average priced and one you're boat rides so takes a while but great great beach and reef places to be found - Hotell can book an arrange and they also arrange airport pickup and delivery - with ferry to island trip takes 1,5 hours from airport to Hotell

A little piece of heaven!
Wonderful place. This was our second time at Nirvana and it was just as great as the first time. Beautiful location and quiet surroundings away from it all. A nice and romantic place with atmosphere and character and friendly and helpful staff. We loved the hammocks and rocking chairs on the veranda,the rock pool and the resident monkeys. Fantastic breakfast, excellent barman (best mojitos ever)and breathtaking views from the beautiful sunset deck.

First time in Thailand Ü
It was very easy to get there and we got transfered straight from the airport on Trat and to Nirvana :) We desided to change the bungalow we had already booked with one down on the waterfront and it was beautiful! The beach outside is not for swimming or tanning cause it needs to be cleaned up and there are to much mud and stone. But there are many and wondrful beaches all around on Koh Chang and if you prefere you can also stay at the poolside :) We notised that even this is the "high seson" there where not many other guests there and sadly we after some days found out the reason.....the place is MADLY overpriced compared to all the other resorts on Bang Bao....even the neighbour-resort cost 1/4 of the price we ended up paying...
