“Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. “This was my 2nd time staying here after I adopted the woman who runs the hotel and the shop as my Japan oba last year, I remembered she loves hydrangeas so I stopped in Kamakura at Hasedera to get her a gift before seeing her because her birthday is in June. “シャワー室の足拭きマットが共有で、ウレタン？素材のもので、前の人の水分がたっぷり含まれていて気持ちが悪かった。マット周辺にも水溜りができてるのに拭くものも何も無くて、何の上で足を拭けばいいのか悩むくらいだった。部屋それぞれに対しての下駄箱も無く、他の部屋の人の靴と一緒に入れたけど、その人の靴が臭くて気分が悪かった。ちょっとしたことへの配慮が欠けてるかな。建物や部屋は綺麗なだけに残念。”

“The earlier comments have certainly been taken to heart; the accommodation was clean and the amenities were good. Although the twin room was sparsely furnished, it was good enough for an overnight stay. However, if you're a side sleeper like we were, you might find the futons to be too thin to be truly comfortable. Excellent place for backpackers and short-stay, not so much for families or extended stays.”
