It was a great experience to stay at this museum hotel, staff was great and very accommodating, they treated us with great care and respect, food service was excellent. Can't wait to go back there again.

This place is an oasis to enjoy during your journey. It's a 13th century Caravanserail with history and beauty in every corner. Staff is attentive and professional from check-in to check-out.

We had a fantastic experience and everything was really lovely. Staying in such a historic building is a privilege made all the better because the room, food and staff exceeded our expectations. Irem was particularly helpful as was Isa and everyone else whose names we didn’t remember. Great stay!

Le caravanserail est superbement restauré avec des materiaux de qualité. Les chambres sont magnifiques, très propres et super confortables. Le diner était copieux et tres bien cuisiné et le personnel très avenant. Nous y referons halte à notre retour de Cappadoce!

The architecture of the hotel was stunning. The rooms and the property were all very clean and well maintained. However, there is so much more potential to this hotel than being used. For example, there were two big TVs in our room, neither one of them were connected to the Internet and was not possible to connected to the Internet. Therefore, they only had three channels on each of the TVs and we could not watch anything in our room, except for using our own phones. The staff could not speak English, except for one person who was not there all the time. The breakfast and dinner were included in our stay, but since nobody spoke English, we had no idea what was on the menu and had to be taken by surprise. At the checkout, we were told that we have to pay for some coffees that we ordered for our breakfast. Had someone been able to speak English, they would’ve explained to us that the coffee is extra. And it was not cheap. They charged us 390 Turkish lira for one coffee. Another flaw was the bathroom and shower which were in an open space and every time somebody would take a shower, the entire floor of toilet and the toilet itself would get wet. The toilet was black and I personally I’m not comfortable with black toilets because I don’t know how clean it is. There was no AC in the room, but there was a fan. We stayed here for two nights and one of the nights. It was really warm in the room. Overall, a good stop place for lunch or coffee, but not an overnight place

Riesig großes Zimmer mit speziellen Interieur und Konzept. Reichlich Frühstück, Snack und am Abend mit regionaler Küche. Jungs und freundlichstes Personal. In der Umgebung absolute Ruhe und Leere. Fahrt zum Salzsee! Zwei Nächte lohnend!

Possibly the most unique and surprising ‘hotel’ I have ever stayed at. It is much more than simply an ‘overnight’ - it is an experience. We booked the night before with no real knowledge of what we had booked for - at the start of the off-season, it was not full which made it feel almost private. The four-course included dinner was excellent.

I’m surprised this place isn’t more well-known. It’s such a hidden gem — you can enjoy Obrukhan at your own pace, feel the depth of its history, and appreciate the elegant small museum and restaurant on site. The road at night was quite dark, so I stayed alert on the way, but Sevede, Gül, and all the other staff gave us such a warm welcome that we immediately felt at ease. My parents were very satisfied, and the food was excellent. I’d love to recommend this place to others!

Otel konum olarak İyi olmasa da obruğun yanında doğa harikası tarihi bir mekan, gün doğumu ve batımı harika, odaları bakımından, servis iyi ve personel oldukça ilgili yemekler çok güzel ve özel, kahvaltı çok güzel içecek ve diğer ikramlar ortam ambiyans çok güzel. Kesinlikle deneyimlenmesi gereken bir yer. Sadece su içme ve diş fırçalama kullanımı açısından sürekli servis gerekiyor ama bu konuda da ilgililer ve çözüm odaklılar.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Wir wurden von Frau Gül sehr nett betreut. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren sehr reichhaltig. Alles wurde am schön gedeckten Tisch serviert. Das Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet und sehr schön dem alten Gebäude angepasst. Wir liebten es eine Nespressomaschine im Zimmer zu haben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

I had to keep my visit short as they offered spa like Hammam bathing, however it was out of service and it didn’t have hot water to shower, I ended up getting sick for showering with cold water on a very cold day, kind of ruined my vacation

We are cycling across Türkiye and heard about this place from other cyclists. It definitely lived up to expectations. The site renovation is impressive. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and even included a Turkish bath. The food was good and cost included all food and drink, other than coffee and ice cream. Gül and Sevde were very helpful and explained everything clearly to make our stay a great success 😀

Make this a Definite Stop on Your Road Trip!

We cannot express enough gratitude for the amazing stay we had at Obruk. It was truly a magical experience in every possible way. We had originally planned to stay in Konya but detoured on our road trip after seeing it on Google and ARE SO GLAD WE DID. The care and attention of this place is incredible. I've never stayed in a nicer place and the food was delicious. Our time here will take a prime spot in our memories of Turkiye! Perfect stop for a Turkiye road trip!

This is an enchanted place. Beautifully designed rooms that tastefully combine old and new. Staff who is very welcoming, warm, and helpful. The food is fabulous with the chef being very responsive and thoughtful in response to our dietary restrictions. We booked the hotel for one day and stayed for four….and we will come back.

Staff service was excellent and rooms were nice. Turkish breakfast was also very delightful. However, there were pigeons right behind a window behind the bed, which not only didn't allow to open the window because of the smell but also woke one up in the morning. Not so great for the price charged. Dinner was ok but having one fixed menu with no choice of mains is not necessarily great. Maybe the hotel can offer three options for dinner for mains and do something about the pigeons around the place, like having a falcon around might help.

Einzigartige Unterkunft, tolles Zimmer aber im Gebäude etwas gerümpelig, überall standen Matratzen und Restmöbel herum.Dafür fand ich es zu teuer. Es gibt in der Nähe kaum was zum anzuschauen. 1 Nacht ist genug. Das Personal spricht kaum englisch ( Rezeption), nur türkisch. Das kostenlose Abendessen waren Spagetti Bolognese und Salat.
