The holiday home is idyllically located in the quiet mountain village of Kötschach-Mauthen in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See holiday region. At the end of the picturesque Gailtal, at the tri-border point of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia, you are surrounded by impressive mountain ranges, pure Alpine air, and plenty of sunshine – a place where nature, relaxation, and adventure come together.

Right next to the house are the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. With 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country skiing tracks, this area is ideal for families and those seeking tranquility. Larger ski resorts such as Nassfeld (110 km), Zettersfeld in the Lienzer Dolomites (21 km), and Golzentipp in Obertilliach (12 km) are just a 25 to 45-minute drive away or reachable via the free ski bus (approximately 300 m from the house).

Summer in this region offers plenty of enjoyment as well. The Nassfeld-Pressegger See holiday region invites endless discoveries with an extensive network of hiking and cycling routes, complemented by no less than 25 themed trails within the ‘Hike World’. For relaxation, you can visit the Aquarena Wellness Oasis, where a swimming pool and wellness facilities await you, or take a trip to the idyllic Waldbad Mauthen, a natural swimming paradise amidst greenery. Both are located directly in Kötschach-Mauthen and are perfect for a carefree day. The warmer lakes Pressegger See and Weissensee are also nearby, providing the perfect spot for a relaxing day by the water, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
