The room is ran down and not very clean. missing tiles broken slider door broken closet. No rack for Hanging wet clothing.

Great stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and always available. Property was well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay at the Kauai Inn again!

For a four star hotel... the pool in particular was run down. There are traffic cones around the pool deck, spots where the tiles in the pool are chipped, and the handrail into the hot tub is wobbly. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed doing the yoga on the beach that is included in the resort fee.

Everything was ok including assistance on site. The rooms are rented without any cleaning service During the trip. You will have your room as a condomn with coffe tea towels etc that will not be replaced or furnished until the check out. Regardless this the place is fine. We left our room in advance due to the hurricane

Waking up to the lush mountains, listening to the waves, and enjoying the cool trade winds made every day feel like paradise. The climate was perfect for us—comfortable temperatures, fresh ocean breezes, and just enough tropical rain to keep everything incredibly green and beautiful. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality added so much to our experience. We completely fell in love with Hanalei and the North Shore. The slower pace of life, stunning scenery, amazing food, and friendly people made it incredibly difficult to leave. It was exactly the kind of relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Hanalei Colony Resort provided the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Whether we were enjoying the views from our lanai, exploring the area, or simply unwinding, every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. We are already planning our return trip next year.
