“This is the second time we have stayed here, as it’s perfect for our family get togethers. We had 3x family groups accommodated with plenty of space inside, good mix of sleeping options, good kitchen and play area outside for kids. Walking distance to lake and town. We’ll be back again and would definitely recommend it to others.”

“This house was amazing, lots of room, was great for two families, let us all enjoy everyone's company but have space at the same time, especially with having the kitchenette down steers. Also loved the fact town was only a couple of minutes walk Will book this again next year if available.”

“We had an amazing stay at the Retro Retreat! The location next to Lake Taupo is absolutely stunning and made our trip even more memorable. The weather was lovely as well. The batch house was incredibly nice, tidy, and well-maintained. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially the basic amenities and the lollies for the kids—they loved them! The location is very quiet at night. It’s less than 5 minutes to the lake, which was perfect for us. The kitchen windows offers nice panoramic view...
