Loved the beach condo. Decor was great and so close to ocean. We loved to just set on deck and watch the people and waves. Great place to stay. I will definitely go there again.

Location was beautiful. Clean and well kept except none of the TV's worked. We called 4 times and this was never fixed for the entire week. Still no response.

Amazing Location

The property location and amenities (beachfront, pools, rec center, state parks etc.) were fantastic. The first floor condo deck and close beach access was wonderful. The surrounding area was quiet and quaint. The condo was comfortable with well stocked kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc). The assigned, covered parking was very convenient. However, some of the condo is in need of updates. The downstairs sliding door is VERY hard to open and close. The track is clearly worn out. From a cleanliness standpoint, it was okay. The outside deck areas/furniture were not touched. From our experience, the attention to detail isn't always there when properties are managed by companies with cleaning crews.

Great Vacation

We were extremely pleased with this unit. It is well maintained and clean. Good TVs, nice patio furniture, good layout. It’s great not having neighbors above or below. Great location with easy beach access, nice beach in front of property and pool nearby. Property management made check in and out easy. Great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Location was great

We had a temporary issue and lost some of the lights in the living room area. I called the property manager who told me she only report emergency issues to the owner, and that this was not an emergency. I was told they would call me first thing in the morning, but they never called. Thanks to my “Fix-it” husband, he found the problem and corrected it. There were dirty dishes and pots and pans in the cupboards. I had to wash everything we used to make sure it was clean…. :( The bathrooms were clean. There was hair and dust balls in the bedrooms, and I needed to sweep them before our guests arrived. I don’t feel I should have to pay for the cleaning fee, as I had to do it.

This property was my favorite place of anywhere I've vacationed at.

We had the best experience ever here. My favorite place, ever. Clean, easy check-in and checkout. Perfect location! Love Kure Beach. I would highly recommend & I will definitely be going back!

Beautiful relaxing week!!

We booked last minute (booked the place and left 2 days later lol) This was our first time staying in the area. Loved the close proximity to the beach...loved falling asleep and waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean. Definitely could use some updates to kitchen and bathrooms and the exterior of the units could use a fresh coat of paint. Living room furniture was not exactly clean and kitchen a bit disorganized, but I suppose it is due to the quick turn around between renters. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could need and we loved all the beachy decor throughout the unit! The town is very quaint and loved the location being away from most crowds, but we were still close enough to restaurants and shops. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!!

"DIRTY", neglected by Property Management Comp.

We have stayed at several Vacation Rental properties throughout the years and this was the first time that we were disappointed. The Condo is nicely decorated and fully stocked with everything you need, plus additional extras, that was very nice. Beautiful views of the ocean and easy access to the pool and beach. However, the owner should really look into finding a New Property Mgmt Comp. We paid for early check-In, due to Covid19, check-in's were between 4pm-6pm so that each unit could be thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Upon arriving to the condo, we could smell what appeared to be a cleaning solution, however, that was not the case. Clothes were still in the washer, there was months worth of dust coating the ceiling fans, walls, doors and furniture. (skin cells, hair, bacteria of previous guest) Stains on the sofa, food crumbs on the stove and counter-tops, food splattered on the walls, backsplash, cabinets. Dirty dishes in the cabinets. Hair from previous guest on the dinning table, in the fridge, sink and freezer. The light switches were dirty as well as the outside of the kitchen cabinets and clearly had not been sanitized, why would you clean a door knob/handle and NOT wipe the area around it? The floors were dirty, we could see that a mop had been used by the dried dirt and hair lying in clumps. We killed 5 cockroaches during our stay. There were several "questionable" stains on the decorative pillows in the second BR where my children were suppose to sleep. Could be soap buildup, but these aren't pillows that you can throw in the wash. Thankfully, we packed our own sheets and brought our own pillows, habit. We contacted the Property Mgmt Comp and they were quick to send a cleaning crew. The crew entered the condo w/out wearing face mask and wanted me to point out everything that needed to be cleaned, that should never be the responsibility of a Guest. They left 10mins after arriving and right before they left one of the cleaners wiped the debris on the counter into the floor and did not sweep it up before leaving. I called the Mang Comp back, spoke to Manager on Duty, "Ron", he advised that their cleaning standards may not be up to par with how I might clean at home and they perform 2 deep cleanings yearly and do not have time to clean behind the fridge after each guest? I emailed pics to Ron, he sent another cleaning crew and offered a late checkout,which we declined, he never apologized for the inconvenience.

Great vacation

SeaCoast rentals was great to work with. They responded quickly to a few questions I had prior to arrival and the check in was very easy. While there, the condo’s blender broke and after letting SeaCoast know, they came with a replacement within only a couple of hours. The property could use a few updates but the location and proximity to beach access, as well as the outdoor pool can’t be beat.

First time at Kure Beach. Great family condo. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

Positives: Beautiful view (basically on the beach), two pools in close walking distance, floors and living room TV seem new or recently updated, maintenance/rental agency was responsive to issues and questions. Great family condo - our two boys (11 & 13) loved it! Lifeguard station close by which was nice since the waves were wild at times due to the weather. Coquinas are in walking distance to the South and Kure Beach Pier is a nice beach walk too (North). No bugs! But, we usually rent in FL so maybe this is a NC beach bonus? Also, check out was easy. Negatives: Blinds in master are on their last legs. Upstairs TV is outdated.

604 Ocean Dunes

This is our 4th year in this unit. We hope to be back next year. The quick check in system was amazing and getting the text notification that our place was ready was even better! We did call about the handle on the washer not working great. Also, there were rental sheets left crammed under the trundle. Those didn't effect our stay, but wanted to let you know! The only item I wish was a little difference is getting the deposit back so late. That is a long time to sit on my credit card. Truly looking forward to next year!

I loved the place. Only issues I had was there wasn't a closet to use in the master bedroom. The drawers in the dressers that were big had extra covers and pillows in them Also the washing machine door was almost impossible to open if my husband or son wasn't there I had to wait to put clothes in the dryer. But over all it was great.

We loved almost everything about #604 Ocean Dunes. The unit has been freshly painted, and the floors appear to be new too. The kitchen appliances may be the next to upgrade, but they were perfect for us since we didn't plan on doing too much cooking! My only concern has to be with the mattress on the queen bed. Needs an upgrade! Besides that, we loved the unit, its location, the beautiful, clean beach, the pool, the workout center, and especially the views. Everyone around us was so friendly and polite, and the noise level was almost non-existent. Such a nice place to chill for a week in the sun!

Nice Family Get-away... Amazing Views

Be still and listen - you can hear it can't you? The ocean is calling, and you can't get any closer than this! Go when you don't need to have the AC on - and fall asleep or wake up to the ocean from your master bedroom or LR/DR. Other than a single sand dune, and a short walk down the beach access path ~ the beach and ocean are right there. Hunt for sharks teeth or just grab a book and an umbrella and relax. Watch the fishing boats, pelicans, and dolphins. Go fishing off the pier - about a 5 minute car ride. The inside pool was big and a nice way to end the day. Fort & aquarium are just down the street as is the ferry over to SC. This area is definitely more laid back and quieter than a few miles up the road in Carolina Beach and you'll honestly not want to go anywhere... you're at the beach! The property & furnishings are fine. It's clean, definitely worth getting the linen package. The dryer needs a tune-up, and it would be nice if an outside shower could be added. Kitchen was adequately stocked - maybe some new pots/pans - but there was a crock pot... set it and forget it! Wilmington is about 15-20 minutes. Plenty of grocery stores, Wake & Bake Donuts is worth the splurge. We'll be back.
