La casa è di recente costruzione ed estremamente ben arredata. Si affaccia a sud sul Loch Long, deliziosamente appartato. Vi è abbondanza di opportunità per passeggiate, vela, pesca, kayak e altre attività all'aperto direttamente dalla porta di casa e nelle immediate vicinanze. Per una maggiore varietà, l'isola di Skye è a soli 30 minuti di auto.
La proprietà è di grandi dimensioni (380m2) e comprende una camera da letto principale, due ulteriori camere da letto matrimoniali e una camera doppia (al piano terra), tutte con lussuosi servizi privati, nonché una camera doppia e una doppia che condividono un ampio bagno. C'è una cucina / sala da pranzo spaziosa e ben attrezzata, una sala da pranzo / salotto separata con posti a sedere per 12 persone, un ampio salotto e una grande sala giochi con posti a sedere e un tavolo da ping-pong. Per gli appassionati di attività all'aperto c'è una stanza per il bagagliaio per riporre le attrezzature e una stanza di asciugatura separata. La maggior parte delle camere da letto e le principali aree di vita beneficiano di viste meravigliose.
All'esterno c'è un enorme patio esposto a sud con tavoli e posti a sedere per 12 che gode di un'ampia vista sul lago e sulle montagne in tutte le direzioni. Il giardino sulla collina contiene ulteriori aree salotto appartate e si estende per circa 3 acri. Sul lato e sul retro della casa c'è un ampio parcheggio.

Tutti i servizi abituali sono contenuti all'interno della casa, tra cui lavastoviglie, lavatrice, TV, lettore DVD e DVD, WiFi, libri, giochi ecc.

Tutte le foto sono della casa o prese direttamente dalla casa .... e non ho dovuto stare in punta di piedi e alzare le braccia in aria per farle!

Skye und Umgebung

Super Lage! Sehr ruhig gelegen mit gute Ausstattung und Küche. Ordentlich aber nicht super sauber, der Grill war leider aufgrund der Vormieter nicht zu brauchen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Ged ist äußerst bemüht und ein sehr guter Vermieter! Gerne wieder!

Stunning Property

The house and the views from it are both stunning. Lots of room for our group of 10 to spread out and cook delicious meals. The beds are all very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. A beautiful property.

Beautiful property close to Isle of Skye

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We are a multigenerational family (ages 21-84). House is well equipped and comfortable. The views from every room are stunning. Location is excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of space for our group of 9. Highly recommend.

Quiet and comfortable

Our stay was incredibly relaxing thanks to this warm and comfortable home. Everything was just as described. It was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully put together. The space had everything we needed for a peaceful stay, and we felt at ease from the moment we walked in. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and homey it felt. The host was responsive and we’d gladly stay here again!

Lovely spot!

We had a great time here! Could easily have spent longer. It’s a beautiful secluded spot and a great base for exploring. The table tennis room is also great for rainy days.

House was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean.

Beautiful property

Nice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.

Convenient home base for hiking the Highlands

Bunloyne was the ideal house for our group of 7 hiking friends to explore the area in the northwest part of Scotland. It had great shared spaces, large kitchen for food preparation and enough bathrooms for everyone! The views from the house are sublime. The house is very close to the Eilean Donan castle, and is very convenient to Skye. We also took road trips to Inverness and Ben Nevis/Fort William but be aware that driving in Scotland takes longer than you might think. Gerard was responsive and a good host.

Nice stay

Overall, the stay was great! The house was big and the host provided a lot of extra niceties. The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. We also found the front door difficult to lock, although as Americans, we may have just not understood how the lock worked.

The property was very nice and the house was in good shape once we got there. Getting there was a little difficult as the area is very remote but we made it. The location is very close to the entrance to the Isle of Skye making it ideal.

Days in the lovely Scottish Highlands

Bunloyne is simply lovely! Nestled in the mountains with its views of Loch Long, we could not have envisioned a more perfect spot to gather with friends to savor the peace and beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The spaciousness and comfort of the house coupled with a spectacular view from each window was wonderful and prompted us to appreciate what was nearby without the need to travel far. Our hikes from the house were our favorites with their amazing views, sheep, and highland cattle. We loved hearing the stories of those who lived nearby and, meeting their well-trained and beloved dogs! Hiking on the nearby Isle of Skye and hearing the music of Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain during an evening in Portree was delightful. And on our visits to Plockton, we imagined an encounter with Hamish Macbeth. We frequently Manuelas' Wee Bakery and enjoyed the laughter and warmth of a Durney pub. Thank you, Gerard for sharing your lovely home. And to the many gracious folks who call the Scottish High lands their home, be well. We'll hope to visit once again.

Relaxing days at Loch Long

We had a lovely stay at Geds hosue Bunloyne. Contact with Ged was always very good and we always got quick responses. We have been a group of 11 persons and the house suited as well. Enogh space and equipment for all of us. We can strongly recommend the house and Ged as a host.

Wonderful family trip

Our family spent three weeks at Bunloyne in July and August. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, well-appointed, and in an extraordinary location. Looking over Loch Long was a special treat, no matter the weather. Ged was a perfect host. He responded to questions quickly and helpfully, and he gave us great advice about local restaurants. Family of 9 loved our stay!

We are a family of 9 ( 3 children ages 2, 7, 14)and 6 adults. This beautiful home fit our needs perfectly! The kitchen was generously stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans to accommodate our cooking. We noted how clean, new and luxurious our bed linens were in the house, and we all slept well in our bedrooms. The view from the house of Loch Long is outstanding and we would definitely visit again! Our stay was exceptional, and enjoyed by all in our family group!

Beautiful views but a little remote

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends and got to experience the Lochcarron Highland Games. This place was spacious and we had room to spread out and enjoy magnificent views. It was pretty remote so be prepared for a ten to fifteen drive to any pub or market. There were some plumbing issues but as there were six bathrooms, we were fine. It was well stocked with anything you could need and we appreciated getting to cook meals at home rather that eating out constantly. The small washer and dryer were helpful but if you’re from the states, be ready for each load to take 4-6 hours from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this for large groups who need a getaway from the city.

Magnifique location au calme!

La maison est magnifique, très grandes chambres spacieuses, il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut, la cuisine est très très bien équipée. L'endroit est somptueux, au calme, les biches viennent vous rendre visite le soir et/ou au petit matin... A recommander absolument !

Wundervoller Urlaub in den sonnigen Highlands

Wir sind als Großfamilie vereist. Dafür war das Haus bestens geeignet. Denn alle Schlafzimmer verfügten über ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche/Badewanne. Es gab genügend Platz. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die große und sehr gut eingerichtete Küche. Hier gab es genügend Geschirr und Besteck für alle, was gerade für eine größere Gruppe wie die unsrige (7 Personen) nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die absolut fantastische Lage, hoch über dem Loch Long, umrahmt von Bergen. Wir sind schon viel gereist, kennen viele Ferienhäuser. Aber dieses Haus ist etwas Besonderes. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren. Absolute Empfehlung!
