Stupendo e tranquillo hotel in zona strategica
Stupendo hotel in zona strategica a Kyoto. Pulizia impeccabile di tutta la struttura ed estrema gentilezza, disponibilità e professionale da parte di tutto il personale. La camera era molto grande e pulitissima ogni giorno, due bottiglie di acqua gratis ogni giorno. Nel nostro caso, la camera era all'11esimo piano co una stupenda vista su Kyoto sud. L'hotel è praticamente dentro la stazione ma estremamente silenzioso e tranquillo in stanza. I servizi attorno all'hotel molteplici e do ogni tipo. Consiglio caldamente questo hotel a chi si appresta a visitare Kyto.

Expedia and the hotel granvia set this up to be a scam After booking with Expedia I received notification that Expedia now joined with hotels.com I later upgraded my room through hotels.com and received frequent reminders about my trip and my room - one room Upon checking in, hotel granvia charged me for a room booked through Expedia and hotels.com that is they charged me twice!! I couldn’t get in touch with Expedia the hotel was totally unhelpful and hotels.com informed me the problem was with Expedia and hotel granvia There are many nicer quieter cleaner hotels in Tokyo Avoid scammers don’t stay there

We made a booking which was for the wrong date. We contacted take them immediately within (5 minutes) but in they did not respond until after the stay and billed us. In addition, it was for a smoking room, which we did not ask for. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is hard to find if you arrive by train, even though it is in the station building. Not enough direction signs in the station. Elevator buttons for "Front" and for the mezzanine passageway to JR lines are dark, and they are set way down low so you can't read them. When elevator is crowded, it's impossible to bend over or squat down so that you can see which button is which. Plus which the labels are written in teeny tiny print! On the M3 level, there's a sign next to the south elevator saying to use this elevator to get to the "front". However, there's no indication of whether to go up or to go down. There's actually an arrow that points in BOTH directions! How is a person supposed to know which way to go???!!!! I decided to try UP, but of course I actually needed to go DOWN! It was so frustrating after I had just been traveling for 24 hours continuously.

Everything about the Hotel Granvia was superb. The location is extremely convenient, the rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed, the staff is professional, friendly and helpful, and there are several terrific restaurants in the hotel. The breakfast is also great. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend the Hotel Granvia!

Beautifully appointed room with kind hotel staff. The line for the breakfast buffet was long but the food choices were excellent. It’s a large hotel with many tour groups there but if you want the convenience of being near the train station, this is a very good choice.

are gracious and very helpful. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Each time I come to the hotel , I take advantage of the club lounge from tea time with their desserts , to drinks and small portion tasting menu with wine, champagne or hard liquor. I usually schedule a Shiatsu massage for 90 minutes. This hotel is wonderful due to its proximity from Kyoto station for Shinkansen or subway, bus or taxi. Lovely hotel highly recommended it

The easy access to transportation was a huge plus, easy to travel for day trips, the staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Lots of nearby shopping, a grocery store below the train station had all kinds of fresh food and ready to eat food. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, a mix of Japanese and American style foods, I would definitely stay again.

Super easy to access all the transportations. We took buses, trains to visit the attractions in the city. Very convenient. Lots of and shopping stores are round. Although it is so close to the train station, but it is very quiet. Hotel is clean and comfortable. I would stay again next time

We had a great stay at the Granvia. Location, facilities were excellent. Some hallways are tired and carpet worn but overall cleanliness and staff aren’t excellent. Paying for a room that includes lounge access is recommended. This team is exceptional.

The property was in perfect location for transport, dining and walking to the sights. The room was spacious with a view over the train station with mountains in background. The only negative was the bathroom matting flooring which was covered in stains, not very hygienic. We had to use a bath mat on the toilet floor was did not want to walk on floor due to all the stains on floor. The matting flooring needs replacing with tiles or wooden planking for hygiene purposes.

Friendly and helpful staff. The lounge was nice with finger food etc available during happy hour 5-7pm and wine via a machine, they make a nice Japanese gin and tonic there!

This was a great hotel conveniently located right in the Kyoto Station. We stayed on the 15th floor and had access to the lounge, which was great for breakfast and drinks. The view was amazing too. Property has great amenities and really helpful staff. Highly reccomend.
