“Quarto maravilhoso, estilo japonês, grande e confortável. A localização deixa um pouco a desejar, meio afastado. O horários do check in a partir das 16hs e principalmente o de check out as 10 hs ,me desagradou.”

“The room I got was very good for the price. It was perfectly clean and had all the amenities I wanted plus some extras, like they provided detergent for the washing machine. The location is nice (1 block away from a subway station) and the staff are efficient. The only thing I disliked is that they want you to leave your keys with the front desk whenever you leave the hotel, which is strange and could cause problems, but thankfully I avoided any such problems.”

“We loved the free drinks and snacks in the evening. The breakfast is healthy and locally-sourced. The Shirakawa River beside the hotel is pretty. The soba and sushi restaurants beside the hotel are excellent. It’s close to Meiji jingu and a Tsutaya bookstore which feels peaceful.”

“This was a great home base for our family of 4 while we were in Kyoto. Not super luxurious, but clean, comfortable and very convenient. Located right in Gion. There is a FamilyMart next door and the subway station is just 4 blocks away. The hallway carpets could use some stain treatment, but other than that it was a great place to stay.”
