“Everything was as described. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Mara. I hurt myself hiking during our stay and Mara got me ice and offered to take me to the hospital and the owner checked in on me and brought me an ice pack. We didn’t expect to need assistance during our stay and it was great to feel so well taken care of.”

The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). “This place is amazing! We got to use two different places and they were both amazing! One was on the ground floor and the other second floor. Amazing view from both! This place is close to two markets, two beaches and an easy walk to town. We walked to “the rock” twice, there is a bus that takes you up the road but it is safe and walkable too. “Super cool apartment in the old wall city. NOTE: There is no reception and you need to contact Casa Palma for arrival to arrange meeting for keys and payment. It's like finding a apartment in an ancient maze, but amazing once you find it. We didn't know about contacting the host, we were horrified that it was just closed for the season, but once we called, it was very worth the extra trouble, best stay in Greece.”
