The property is cosy and comfortable but extremely well equipped - if so inclined you could return home to cook every meal (although the restaurants right nearby and in every town make it a hard choice). “Great location right by the Dordogne, and a short walk into Bergerac. Quiet, clean, modern, well-equipped, secure, easy parking right outside. Beautiful garden right down to the river. Very handy for the airport but no disturbance from there. Perfect base for exploring Bergerac and the Dordogne, by foot, on bikes, by car. Jacqueline and Jean-Marie are really good hosts - friendly, welcoming, helpful and responsive.”

“House was in a lovely location. Garden was rustic beautiful sound of frogs in the evening. House comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Owner was helpful to accommodate a later check out. Shame half a toilet roll, and no soap provided. Would rather have had these basics than the local bottle of wine! Especially as had just stayed at another place with the basics including toilet paper soap and cleaning products in addition salt and coffee being provided.”

We loved the simple but perfect renovation of the old house and the courtyard out the back which backs onto a stream into the Dordogne. The owners are meticulous and lovely and friendly.
