“I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. ”

“Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again ”

“The property manager, Lady, was so helpful. She helped arrange tours for us and gave us information about what to do. Finding the place was a little difficult, as Waze didnt map it out correctly (initially I used Mountain Faro Hotel as it was named in expedia) so i had to stop and google address and remap with a different name. I used Mountain Faro B&B and waze mapped icorrectly then. Also office was closed when we arrived at 7pm. I had to find contact info on expedia to reach owner. She...

“You don't stay in Arenal for the area around the B&Bs. You go to Arenal because it's funky and quiet and friendly . We return to Casa Donna Rosa for the welcoming owners and most of all for the fantastic breakfast preparations. I have only been gone one day and I miss their breakfasts already. Home baked Challah in think hunks with baked crisp finish the their french toast...yumm even before you try adding the smear of preserves. Great Costa Rican coffee is served with pots of wam milk. ”
