The Hidden Tropical Paradise is a spacious and elegant villa set in an exclusive and private tropical garden spanning more than 6,000 m².
The surrounding neighborhood and easy access to downtown La Fortuna—just 2 minutes away—offer a majestic view of the Arenal Volcano. The so-called “forest neighbor” reminds our guests that it is tropical life and nature they were seeking for their vacation.
The villa features very spacious and comfortable rooms, elegantly furnished and designed by an architect to blend harmoniously with the surrounding nature.
The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en suite.
It can accommodate up to 10 people plus a baby. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all needs, including a dishwasher and an ice maker;
The living room is connected to the outdoors via a large terrace, creating a completely open, relaxing atmosphere.
It’s ideal for enjoying a drink while watching a variety of birds—including some of the world’s rarest species—and eating fruit.
Leaf-cutter ants work diligently in a line, red frogs hide beneath the leaves, and if you look up, you can see the toucan moving through the treetops.
Depending on the season, you can see howler monkeys—known as “Kongos”—that visit the edge of the property, drawing your attention with their loud cries from dawn onward.
The park is a feast for the eyes: colorful plants and flowers like never before, huge trees, and fruit trees such as orange, lemon, tangerine, and avocado. Describing them doesn’t do them justice—you have to see them for yourself.
The greenery is crisscrossed by a stream of spring water that originates at the foot of the Fortuna Waterfall.
The pool is perfect for children, and nearby you can relax in the ranch’s hammocks, which are equipped for a cheerful barbecue evening where everyone can cook together.

The presence of the owner and the manager—who live with their family near the entrance to the property—contributes to privacy, tranquility, and security, helping guests avoid feeling abandoned, as is all too often the case for foreigners in other countries.
