Hans has a great home with a beautiful view of the terrace. The 2 bedroom en-suite home should really be advertised as a 3 bedroom en-suite because the little Casita that has Murphy beds is a lovely addition and is very comfortable as an en-suite bedroom. Thanks Hans for being very responsive.

Lovely beach home, close to everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed home. It was full of light, offered beautiful views, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hans was in touch upon our arrival and it was clear he would be responsive to any questions we might have. The home is a short walk down to the ocean and a five minute drive from shopping and restaurants. San Diego is only 20 minutes away, so quick drive to the zoo, airport, etc. Would highly recommend this location and this home!

Outstanding stay!

Don’t look any further if you’re looking for a place in or near La Jolla. Hans is a fantastic communicator, easy checkin, and responsive. The location is a stone’s throw from a fantastic beach, quiet and safe neighborhood. Rooftop deck is incredible with plenty of lounging areas, tables, night lights and heat lamps. Hot tub downstairs was perfect. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, spices, etc. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful Windansea Getaway

Perfect for 3 couples! This house has everything going for it! A great location, three nice ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a fabulous rooftop patio. On top of all of this, the house had a good vibe, felt larger than it is, and was filled with nice furnishings, quality cookware and multiple kitchen appliances that most rentals lack. We did not use the hot tub but it was ready to go for us. We did find the outdoor shower super convenient. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable house

My husband and I chose this lovely, bright and elegant house for the location, proximity to a quiet beach, the rooftop deck, and all the amenities even though it provided more space than we needed. We loved it. I swam every day in a perfect and secluded beach. I cook everyday and found everything I needed in the kitchen. One small frying pan was worn and could be replaced but everything else was in perfect condition and working order. I loved the deck with a hot tub for quiet relaxation. I found the mattresses to be softer than my preference and would have preferred one that was firm, but most people don’t seem to mind that. I enjoyed Hans’ library of books for a cloudy day of reading! We will return ! Thank you to a wonderful and gracious host who made himself available for any questions. All the best.

Beautiful house. Amazing location.

The location is wonderful. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach, where there are always surfers. From there, it's a nice walk in either direction: one way through an extraordinary neighborhood and the other way to watch seals playing in the ocean and the town of La Jolla. The home is very comfortable, and the roof deck is an amazing place to have a BBQ and relax. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We hope to return soon.

My 5 year old said the roof top was his favorite experience followed by San Diego Zoo gondola ride. Great location with many amenities and attractions within walking distance.

Thanksgiving getaway with family

The property was very nice. Beds and bedding were comfortable. The beach was just steps away and the sunsets from the rooftop deck were fantastic! The only negative was that there were no casserole dishes to heat our take-out thanksgiving meal. We made it work with what was there.

Location very nice and felt safe. Easy to walk and drive to nearby restaurants and shops.

Our family could walk to and from the beach quickly. Beach chairs and umbrellas were there for us to use. The outdoor space off the second bedroom was nice. Plenty of room for a family to spread out. The view from the rooftop deck was great and it was comfortable for just chilling.

Two stays - Amazing property and location!

We returned after a few years and were just as happy this time around. Pleasantly surprised to see some upgrades. Property manager communication was excellent and proactive. View from rooftop patio and location near beach cannot be beat. Can’t wait to book again!

Beautiful home, ideal location

We had a wonderful week at Hans’ home near Wind n Sea beach. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the hot tub every day and our older son loved the privacy of the casita. A three minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We’ve been to La Jolla many times and this is one of our best experiences! We’ll be back!

Terrific spot for family gathering

We had a great at this beautiful house at Windnsea. It’s a block to a great beach walk. The roof top deck has amazing views and house had great separation of space for the 5 adults and our family visitors over the holiday. We’d stay there again!

Wonderful Week near Windandsea

This property is in a great location. It is well equipped and tastefully decorated. There are outdoor seating areas off both bedrooms, a nice living room spacious rooftop, so your whole party can gather in multiple places or each have their own space as needed. We would happily return here again.

Wonderful Beach Home

This home was better than advertised! Hans was easy to deal with on any issue that came up. The rooftop deck was the absolute best! We used it every night! The Casita was also fabulous! Our family utilized all aspects of the home and everything was as advertised or better! We'd absolutely return and will recommend it to anyone looking for a perfectly located, relaxing beach home!
