Great location. It was a couple of blocks to the beach as well as a couple of blocks to multiple restaurants. We used an Uber when needed but we were able to walk the rest of the time.

My son and his family of four and I spent a fabulous 4 days at the La Jolla Shores house. It was exactly as described--close to the beach, close to restaurants, and a lovely neighborhood. The backyard was outstanding! How many rentals have a treehouse and a play yard perfect for the kiddos? My DIL raved about the soft bed linens and comfy pillows! Rachelle was GREAT in responding to a few questions and she even stopped by to make sure everything was working perfectly. We were close to the San Diego Zoo and to the airport which made our stay especially convenient. Definitely a highlight and a keeper!

Reserved this amazing VRBO for our daughter's graduation from USD and could not have been happier. Check in and check out could not have been easier. The place was immacualte and simple and so very comfortable and so convniently located. Most of our time was spent outdoors enjoying the firepit and many games of cornhole! It is a safe place for little ones to play and adults to enjoy. This beautiful home is just a few short walks from the beach and everything you may need or want. We can't wait to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. It felt like our home away from home!

This is a wonderful La Jolla beach rental, especially for families with kids. We liked that the back yard provides a nice place to transition from a day at the beach--for kids and adults alike. The fact that the host provides beach chairs, sand toys, and a wagon to haul everything to the beach was a huge plus for us. Even though the house is on a busy road, it is set back, so the road noise is only audible from the two front rooms (the living room and the room with twin beds), and it's not too loud. The primary bedroom is off by itself at the very back of the house, with a view to the back yard, if the curtains are open. The house is also within walking distance to some great restaurants. We were glad to have found this place.

Wonderful stay. Close to beach. Has all the small details right, like a new sponge (rather than the typical used one that is a year old sometimes found at some VRBOs/Airbnb’s), bottles of shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc. The landscaping is immaculate and surprisingly even better than the pictures … again, unusual. Great to have an outdoor fireplace, dining table, lounge area. Place has great air flow and good screen doors. Even got a video at check in on how to use the French door locking sequence. Was delighted the back shed had all the beach equipment, including a wagon. Soft white towels. Ice already in the ice maker.

We had a lovely stay for our daughter's graduation. The location in La Jolla Shores is perfect for a walk to the beach, a run, a short walk to the small mercantile grocery, shops, and restaurants. This property worked great for our family of two adult couples and two adult children. The house was clean and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the back garden was fabulous. We ate outside every day, lounged in the sun and shade, and played yard games when we were not out at grad events or on the beach. Our host provided beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and a wagon to cart them. The house is a vintage beach house, so it has some older house charm, but it has been nicely updated. The only thing we might have used is an extra blanket for the cool evenings. We would definitely stay again.

This house was the perfect place for our family with young kids to stay for Spring Break. The house was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and communication with property manager was straightforward and easy. We especially enjoyed the backyard play set, games and fire pit. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s an easy 2 block walk to the beach and the house had all of the beach equipment for us to use. The outdoor shower was nice to rinse off afterwards. And only about a 20 minute drive to the other major San Diego sites making it a great spot overall.
