“This is our 2nd year at this property, and have booked again for next year. Love the condo & area.Some supplies are now needing replacement, such as pillows, toaster oven, & frying pans. Also, a bbq on the property would go along way. Abel was again so helpful with any requests we had, and was kind enough to take us out & show us around the surrounding areas on a couple of occasions during our 4 week stay.Until next time ... ”

“I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Quaint little cottage with a beautiful view. Lovely outdoor seating area to sit and have your coffee and read while looking out at the Lagoon. The family that keeps the grounds is very nice and helpful. The only possible issue, is that there’s no real market. So, if you come, you may want to bring in some groceries. However, there are plenty of restaurants and convenient stores for water, drinks and chips, etc.”

“The house is lovely with the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had, a stunning domed roof ceiling in the bedroom, good shower, comfortable bed and good internet so ticks lots of boxes. It is on the edge of town and has some industrial neighbours which made it very noisy. Happy folks are working hard but it is something to know about. “Located in the busy area of Barra de Navidad. Shops and restaurants literally around the corner. Lots of local food vendors and small grocery stores. It can be noisy at night but I found that when I went into bedroom the noise decreased significantly and I was not bothered at all, slept well. “This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. “Location of the home was within short walking distance to several good restaurants and not far from the centre of Barra, its beach and malecon. Home was secure, clean, beds were comfortable and small pool very welcome on warmer days. Some minor street noise at times was only a minor annoyance. Would stay again.”

“My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. “We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things.
