Hey there! We’re so excited to welcome you to Casa Kubanda, our latest home in the heart of Mt. Helix. This is a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood just 20–25 minutes from all the best parts of San Diego, the beaches, Downtown, Balboa Park, you name it.

We’ve put a lot of love into this home, and we’re still adding the final touches, so some of the furniture may look a little different than the photos.

You’ll be the very first to stay here (starting July 1), and if you’ve stayed at any of our other homes before, you know we take pride in every little detail and in making your stay stress-free, fun, and full of great memories. SECURITY & SAFETY

- This property is equipped with a device that monitors the environment inside the property (including noise levels, temperature, and motion) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbors are not disturbed. Our neighbors are retired and are very noise-sensitive, so they will let us know if our guests are being rowdy past the noise curfew after 10 pm.

▪️ NO parties allowed, neighbors will call cops
▪️ Undeclared guests will be charged $65 per person/night if not disclosed.
▪️ Smoking indoors will incur a $500 charge.
▪️ NO unplugging/tampering/covering any Wi-Fi, outdoor security cams, locks, etc (fees will apply).
▪️ NO unlawful use of our home (illegal activities or substances, etc.)
▪️ USE coasters under all glasses, cups, or mugs to prevent water rings and stains.
▪️ USE trivet mats for hot pots to prevent heat damage to surfaces.
▪️ Garbage disposal: DO NOT put metal, plastic, egg shells, grease, potato peels, bones, coffee grounds, pasta, or celery in the disposal—throw them away. If it stops working, press the small red button under the sink or use an Allen wrench to free it up.
▪️ PET POLICY: We love welcoming well-behaved pets, and there’s a $100 fee per pet per stay for your furry friends. Please keep pets off the beds, comforters, and sofas to avoid extra cleaning or replacement fees if bedding, towels, carpets, or furniture are stained, chewed, or covered in heavy fur. We’ve provided a vacuum, broom, and dustpan for any fur or spills—just be sure to unclog the vacuum if needed. If you bathe your pet in the shower, please collect and dispose of any hair so it doesn’t clog the drain. All pets must be declared, and undeclared pets (including ESAs) will incur a $200 fee per pet.
*** We charge for excessive hair/pet hair/sand in our shower drains, and on couches, etc... please be respectful and responsible of our lovely home
▪️ For Monthly Guests, we have a Utility Cap of $350; guests will be responsible for any overages.
Please note, we store our RV in the large back lot, please do not allow your kids to play on (or around) that area.
