"We had a little confusion in the beginning with the Waze app . Such quick response time !! The property is lovely. Highly recommend ! Pool lights hot tub beds perfect for a family trip !! We had 3 adult kids and us !! So fun to see all around La Fortuna! When the door got locked !! We got it fixed asap !!! Thank you ! Even had a sloth in the tree !!! "We had a lovely stay in this house just outside La Fortuna. We had delicious meals and highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the house. It was amazing to see Flash the sloth hanging out in the garden. The house has a great location near activities but gives an authentic feel. Pura vida!"

"My girlfriends and I were very impressed by our stay here. It was easy to get to and we felt extremely safe (especially because the property is almost hidden in plain sight as it’s enclosed by palm trees). The house was perfect, we enjoyed our time hanging out by the pool, cooked fun meals, and relaxed to watch Netflix at the end of the day on the couches. "We had a most amazing time at gem of a place. We loved company of Mrs Marisel and Anyara. We had breakfast with them everyday. Josh took us for a night frog tour and had amazing knowledge. It was amazing hard work and love he put together in the property. You need a car to get to this place but its worth a try. There is a beautiful private forest behind the house where there are several birds who come during the morning (including at least three tocans), there are also atleast one or two sloths...

"The host was great, the view of the Arenal Volcano was magnificent, the secluded pool was luxurious, the clean rooms were comfortable, and the location was ideal for our stay. Being in the middle of town the only drawback was traffic noise in the middle of the night (unavoidable). Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises."

"We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas....

"My family and I stayed here for a few nights before heading back to San Jose. We drove up to Rio Celeste from Manuel Antonio, and although it was a long drive, guanacaste-La fortuna was everyone’s favorite area of Costa Rica of our entire trip. Rio Celeste was breathtaking, as well as Arenal hiking, Mistico bridges and baldi hot springs were fans of the kids and adults alike. "Our room was nice and clean and we had a beautiful view out of our bedroom window and off of our balcony. There was a river that runs right behind the rooms, it was great listening to that a night. It was great sitting out on our balcony, the balcony is compact though. The little kitchen was nice and suited our needs just fine. Unfortunately the pool was not working while we were there, but it was to cool and it was raining the whole time so we wouldn't have used it anyway. "
