Nice property in a good location a little outside the main center of the town. Safe and a few good restaurants nearby. Service was good. Bathrooms were tiny though and there was no hot water in the sink. Overall pretty good value for price though. I would stay there again.

Amazing hotel! Great breakfast great showers good beds close to great food and gondola. Staff was alway super helpful. Will return to this place

Lovely little hotel in a quiet area of the city. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport which was very helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Great place, will stay again
I was there for a week whilst working and it was a great little hotel. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfast was much better than you would usually get for this price. I liked that water, coffee and mate was free and available all day. I could sit and work in the evening in the comedor with a mate. The internet was good and the staff helped with anything I needed. There isn’t a restaurant but they helped me order via Uber eats when I didn’t feel like heading out. Don’t try and get there on foot if you’re struggling with altitude as it’s all up hill. Generally it’s well-located in Sopocachi.

욕실이 너무 낡았음 샤워실 바닥이 군대군데 벗겨지고 변기에도 얼룩이 있었음 장소가 찾기 너무 어려움 택시 운전사들 절대 못찾음 택시는 좀 비싸도 첨 도착할때는 호텔 통해 예약하는게 좋음 시내로 나갈때는 차가 너무 막히니까 좀 여유있게 나갈 것 새벽에 체크아웃할 때 미리 말해 놓으면 아침식사를 일찍 준비해주는건 좋았음

The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was adequate and standard South American fare. My room was above the kitchen so it was a little noisy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great staff the lady on the desk gave use great advice on trips and day tours in la paz. She also sorted all our taxis out for our trip.

Horrible
There were no Taxi's that would go to where the hotel was located because of a March going on that day. When I phoned the hotel, I simply wanted to know what my best alternative would be to reach the hotel due to this situation. The lady at reception kept saying that I didn't have confirmation for pick-up with Tinka. That was besides the point. I simply wanted to know my best alternative in arriving to the hotel, since transport was not possible by Taxi. Reception kept putting me on unnecessary holds. Then, proceeded to continue saying I did not have a confirmation with the hotel Taxi. I know that! I just hung up on her because there is no reason to keep speaking. Nothing was being resolved. After 45 minutes, I found a Taxi company who was willing to drive me to the hotel. I was tired, having travelled all the way from Isla Del Sol. The room they gave me, had no windows, it was freezing with no heat, until I went to reception to grab a heater. But, I was only able to run it for 30 minutes due to the heater being that of gas, and dangerous, especially with no windows. I felt like I was confined in a prison cell. My bed had bugs on it. I found a roach and pincher bug on top of the sheets. I had to clean it before I went to sleep. When I woke up, I found more bugs on top of my sheets! Very disgusting!!!

Cheap stay in convenient location
Tinka is located within sopacachi, close to various restaurants. The staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is quite run down compared to the pictures. The paint was peeling off a section of the wall in the room and the shower stall floor was chipped all over. If you’re looking for a cheap stay with decent location this would work. If you are big on cleanliness, this may not be the right fit.

Hotel was ok
The hotel was on a steep climb, so if you are not accustomed to the altitude it can be exhausting. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat. It was supposed to be smoke-free room, but the smoking patio was just outside the room, so my room was always filled with smoke.

本通りから4ブロック坂道を上ればホテルに。シャワーの石鹸受けの金具が取れたり、窓の金具が取れたりしてた。ベッドはゆったりしているが、掛け布団や毛布は重たい。暖房はない。シャワーの排水が悪い。朝6時のバスに乗りたいと言うと、朝食は5時に準備してくれた。朝食内容は十分。タクシーも呼んでくれた。

リーズナブルで快適なホテル
スタッフが親切で清掃が行き届いて快適だった。当日朝早く着いた際に朝食も食べさせていただけた。設備的にはホットシャワー、快適なベッドでよかった。WiFiは4Gの回線があったので試していません。ロケーションも特に問題ありませんでした。

Nice bed and breakfast in a safe neighborhood
Very nice bed and breakfast in a safe and quiet neighborhood of La Paz. Staff very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good. Rooms are spacious and clean, very satisfied!

Helpful and friendly staff
I arrived at 0100 which isn't check in time yet. I was really tired. The staff was willing enough to let me check in early. They had a room ready for me at that time of the day. Awesome.

Very good budget hotel.
Basic and no frills hotel but clean and with the most wonderful staff. Breakfast is included and adequate, Wifi is good, and really good value. They're very flexible with check in and check out times. Arrived before 8am and was able to have breakfast and checked into my room right away. My friend who picked me up from the airport also got a free breakfast.

Good stay but need better beds
I arrived very late and was given the last room available, on the first floor. It was a huge room with two twin beds. It can be an issue with the noise of people eating breakfast right next to it or the tv on in the sitting area. The first night I slept in one of the beds and it was the most uncomfortable bed ever, there was no padding whatsoever. The second night I slept in the other bed and it was better, but worn down. The shower took a bit to get hot but it does get hot thankfully! The service I would say is the best part of the hotel. They were very accommodating and helpful during my stay. It was also a quiet residential neighborhood which was nice, but some walking is required to get to main attractions.
We appreciate your message, help us to see the problems we have in our services and facilities and we are improving them.

Simple hotel
Relatively basic hotel 25 mins from the center of La Paz. Breakfast was simple but had enough variety to make it filling. Stayed there twice and each time there was an overpowering smell of wood varnish that gave me headaches. Would stay again but they need to stop polishing the floors while there are guests there

The staff here are all very helpful and nice. The environment in hotel is very good. Walking to city center is about 10-20 minutes.

Fantastic La Paz hotel
Fantastic place to stay in a quiet, safe area of La Paz. Very clean and comfortable sand the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too! Definitely recommend!

We had a great room, very comfortabel with a good bed. comfortabel chairs, a little table and a clean bathroom with hot water. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. One girl spoke very good English. Despite a heater, it was sometimes cold in the room. But we had enough blankets.

Good value hotel
The owner of Tinka is very nice and accommodating. This hotel is very cute and 25 minutes taxi from the airport. The beds are hard, and the wifi does not work. Bathroom is shared, and the shower is very small but has hot water. The rooms are huge, but you can hear everything through the walls and doors. This is a good value and seems nicer than some hostels.
