Great place. Two areas for improvement, WiFi pretty weak, and an option to pay more for turning pool heater on would make it perfect. Having said that we loved the place and would stay again.

Nice and quiet neighborhood close to trails. The communication with vacasa was easy and prompt. November was too cold to enjoy the pool. House has old world charm, kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Dirty and Dated

Check in process is difficult with this rental. They stated no early check-in is allowed from this owner due to cleaning being done. We were staying in the rental for Stagecoach which made it near impossible to see most of Friday's show which is extremely frustrating. Then we enter the only to find sticky floors in the kitchen and master bath, when people took their shoes off the socks were black from walking on the floor which is absolutely disgusting! The home is dated and clearly not looked after properly. We could not access the house via the garage because the prior renters broke the garage door which meant we had to navigate a very steep driveway and steep uneven walk through the front door. They had a week to get the garage door fixed but choose not to with us only receiving a voicemail 3 day's prior. There were 4 of us staying at the rental, they gave us 3 bath towels that's it not something that most rentals do so not only were we short a towel we had no back up, we had to purchase a towel at the store. Spilled a small amount of water from a water bottle on the floor in the dining area and the paper towel came back black so gross, corners of rooms had visible dirt in them, master bath toilet seat was broken overall the house was dirty and dated. Don't stay here!

Comfortable and full of character.

We loved our stay in this cozy home. Loved that it was so close to the gorgeous mountains and fun hikes right out the door. We attended the tennis with our friends and this home was perfectly located. The delicious caramels were a sweet surprise.

Cute getaway

We came down for a week to go to the horseshow in Thermal. The house is very cute, clean, fully equipped. The master/bath is a little weird, but the showers are gorgeous. The beds are a little soft, so if you prefer a firmer mattress, just a heads up. The pool was beautiful; but I wished there was an option to heat it, because it was a little chilly! Overall, we really enjoyed this space. Great view of the mountains from the pretty backyard. Hummingbirds will come to visit, and you'll enjoy how quiet it is.

In the heart of golf country

A fabulous location - quiet neighborhood, close to PGA West golf courses, and convenient to many sight-seeing adventures in the surrounding areas. The property was well maintained, clean and kitchen supplied with many essentials plus some.

Cute place but overpriced

House was cute and clean. Yard could use some TLC. No pool heater so we were unable to use the pool. No ice maker in fridge. Amenities lacking. Garage opener did not open garage. Car port was scattered with nails, one guest got a nail in her foot. Service charge was a lot. Main reason will not return is the early time to check out. 4pm check in and 10 am check out, really only gave us a 1 day getaway. Too early for us to make breakfast and no showers for us. Staying at hotel is starting to be a better deal.

Only once

Booked for 3 nights, left after two. Very dark within the home even with the lights on! No views from within the house. Only view is of the block wall surrounding the back yard. Only good think about this property that we can say is it is a quite neighborhood.

The home was cute but quite a bit of wear and tear on property. Seems like this is probably a frequent rental so you can tell that it needs some good TLC. However, the homeowners did provide plenty of linens that were new and I found that quite lovely. Overall a decent home and great neighborhood.

Summer break

I booked the house for my two boys 13 and 11 and myself for 3 nights. We had a great time! The neighborhood is very quiet. The house was clean except of the glasses, silverware...but I clean it anyway when I stay in a rental house. Unfortunately one of the lounge chairs was damaged and I found a black hair in my bed that was really disgusting. The pool was dirty when we arrived probably because of the wind the day before, but after I requested a pool service the pool guy came right the next day early in the morning. Great customer service! The pool was cooled that was awesome and had a great size. Over all we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful home

Checking in, great. Home, beautiful! Great pool!! Second bathroom needs a little maintenance. Light switch is faulty. Possibly a short, and toilet pipes “sing” after being flushed. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

Wish we could have stayed longer at Casa Chillon

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was a nice quick getaway for our family. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing!

Fabulous home in La Quinta

Love this place. Super cute. Enjoyable back yard with pool and seating area. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Only problems. Check in. Was incredibly unclear. Vrbo needs to change that for certain. Emails were super confusing do you check in in another location or do you check in online the emails I need to be reread and re-done so the people understand exactly what’s expected While the place is perfectly clean and comfortable and wonderful a few things Need to be addressed. One they need to let you know when the gardener and the pool guy are coming so that you’re not surprised. I asked Verbo did let me know about that and they said they called me back and they never did so I just had to wait for them to come to know when their schedule was. Some of the kitchen Tools need to be updated especially the knives. It was nice that they had spices and olive oil and a few other things to get you started so that was nice. Would Definitely stay here again

A great, safe getaway

My small group wanted a safe, clean getaway from Los Angeles during the pandemic, and this house was perfect. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the check in process was contactless and easy. We were able to get groceries delivered from the nearby sprouts, and we were able to order amazing pizza from Enzo's. We were not bothered by the 100 degree heat because the pool was PERFECT. It was a lovely little getaway. Would highly recommend this place for a pandemic escape, but I have no idea how far it is from attractions in normal times since we just hid in our little walled fortress the whole time.

We booked this last second when the air from the fires forced us indoors for days. The air quality in La Quinta was better and this house suited our family perfectly. Loved that there was a pool. I appreciate that the hosts take COVID cleaning precautions. That's definitely a deciding factor for us when choosing a vacation rental these days.
