Entrance through the living room with a sofa bed (140 x 190 cm) and Canal+ TV, shower room, separate toilet, equipped kitchen with dining area (standing table), and a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed.
Access to the owners' garage for use of the shared washing machine.
Private 800 m² garden, garden furniture, barbecue, swing set, 2 bicycles available, on-site parking, and a motorcycle garage.
Fiber optic cable box and baby equipment: cot and high chair.
Château de La Rochefoucauld, chocolate factory, and shops in the town center are 1.5 km away. A second chocolate factory and Charente slippers factory are less than 1 km away.
Le Chambon outdoor center is 20 km away. Mountain bike tour 16 on site. Located on the outskirts of town, the residential area is quiet. The cottage is located on the ground floor of the owners' 1970s house, with a separate entrance and a private garden. The owners live on the opposite side. Completely renovated, the interior soundproofing is very good.

The price includes: Rental, heating, electricity, linens, bathroom and kitchen linens.
The price does not include: Cleaning and tourist tax.

  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.
