Case in affitto a La Tigra

“Llegamos al lugar y no pudimos quedarnos porque nos dijeron que estaba reservado. Nos atendieron con mucha prisa porque tenían que salir. Nos ofrecieron una opción muy diferente a lo que buscamos y por lo que pagamos. Los dueños (los hijos) asumieron que nosotros teníamos que saber que había que llamar antes (para esa gracia mejor uno llama, no reserva por expedia). En la página la casa aparecía disponible y yo reservé haciendo el pago de una vez, pero en ningún momento decía que había que...

“This place was perfect!! It's a peaceful beautiful location close to La Fortuna but away from the tourist area. Fran was an amazing host!! We stayed here for our wedding and they treated us to a complementary float breakfast and even carved us a handmade ornament with our wedding day date on it! This place is great!! 100% recommend!”

“Chambre propre mais assez éloigné des activités. Petit déjeuner tres compliqué et communication toujours long”

“We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!”

“Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!”

“Nice property. Very well situated and quiet. Was pretty clean. Space to park car if you rent one. A toaster would have been a great option to have! Host was very responsive. Would stay again at this property”

“This place is a great base camp to explore La Fortuna. We came with our five kids and this house had everything that we needed including a beautiful River outback that my kids really enjoyed. The air conditioners in the bedroom work amazing. The host was great with the communication and accommodated our delayed flights which caused us not to get to the place until about 10 hours after we were originally supposed to. Really grateful for a fantastic day.”

“Lovely stay! Plenty of room and patio is very comfortable as well. Down the street from main property, so accessing other on-site amenities like the pool is not as easy. Booked through Expedia and received different messaging and instructions through both Expedia and VRBO apps. But VRBO instructions were very good. Guest must message host through VRBO to actually reach them.”

“Ceibo Arenal Home is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Costa Rica. The gardens are absolutely amazing, teeming with frogs of all kinds, along with beautiful plants and other wildlife. If you enjoy nature, you will love exploring the property.Lidianna is an exceptional host—warm, kind, and incredibly generous. She welcomed our family and even allowed our children to roam the property in the evenings looking for frogs, plants, and wildlife. She had freshly prepared pineapple mango...

“A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. We did not rent a car and found Uber and taxi transportation readily available. All the recommended staff were excellent. They were very kind, timely and helpful when minor problems occurred. The lady who cleans came when...

“Check in was easy, pretty spot and view. Needed to use the back patio during the heat of the day until the sun went down, because the direct sun in the front area is intense. We were surprised the sliding doors and all windows did not have screens, but it wasn't too bad. Our biggest issue was the refrigerator wasn't funcioning properly, and the toaster and coffee maker were also not working. We communicated these issues with the host and there was no discussion of repair or help to ensure our...
